Star Wars VIII : The Last Jedi [WARNING: SPOILERS]

100% an improvement on the first trailer we got IMO.

Not sure if I read too much into this but :

The trailer seemed to indicate Kylo blowing up whatever starship Leia was on at the time in his modified Tie Fighter, a way to send Fisher off so her death wont cause technical issues for the future

Also I wont be truly satisfied unless I see Luke showing his true ability with the force ideally involving his lightsabre and some cannon fodder (AKA Vader in Rogue One). However I have a feeling he is going to do a Yoda in TESB on us and just walk about and prattle on to Rey.

Ticket booked for 9pm on the 13th December. A Double showing with The Force awakens at 9pm. Will be a long day though as working 8-6 that day first.

Super Hyped though.

I think the whole Ren killing Leia was another bit of misdirection there.

EVENTUALLY managed to get 9:45am, BFI Imax, perfect seats (that weren't originally available). Happy with that, can grab some food after. The Odeon website is useless.

Why is everyone so obsessed with BFI IMAX for this?

I know they have the biggest screen, but they are literally showing it in 2K with dimmed 3D on their digital projector.

Much better with either the Science Museum for 70mm 2D or CineWorld Leicester Square which has a 4k Laser projector with no loss of light for 3D.

After the fiasco last year for Rogue One and the year before for Ep VII. I pre-empted this one and bought tickets at 6:30am. IMAX 3D Gallery seats at Metrocentre, Gateshead. Doing the double bill of Ep VII and VIII! :D

Have to be honest. I think I'm all Star Wars'd out. After TFA and RO I don't think I have the energy with it all anymore. Will likely see but I think BR2049 will taint this any anything else Sci-Fi for a while.

Rey and Kylo to switch? Also, ***** is that little animal?! Haha!

I quite liked that trailer, can't wait to see it, probably wait until nearer Christmas.

So when has Luke felt power like that? Anakin?
