Microsoft’s Xbox backwards compatibility team is adding Xbox One X-specific enhancements to four high-profile Xbox 360 games that are already playable on Xbox One:
Halo 3
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Fallout 3
Assassin’s Creed
Some titles now have 10-bit color depth unlocked where they previously were restricted to 8-bit by the Xbox 360, and all have nine times the on-screen pixels.
I got to see Halo 3 running in a developer mode that clearly showcased the difference. The left half of the screen was standard Xbox 360 emulation on Xbox One, which already offers framerate smoothing and other subtle benefits. On the right it had the enhanced color palette and the 9x pixel count.

Nobody tried the OG games yet?
I watched the launch stream. KotoR looked quite sharp but there were still the odd jaggies and the text wasn’t as crisp as I was expecting - it looked aliased too. Ninja Gaiden looked much better, almost like an early 360 game.

Yeah, definitely. Can't see it happening due to Bizarre Creations being bought up.
Do Activision own the rights for PGR then? i know they bought and closed Bizarre Creations but wasn't PGR a Microsoft studios game? Bungie didn't take Halo with them when they went off to activision. cant believe its been 10 years since PGR4, makes me feel old.
I would like to but the only game I'm interested in trying is King of Fighters Neo Wave and as usual MS makes the most basic things hard to find. Looked on the website (UK not US), on my console dashboard. Cant find anything to download the OG games.

Wonder if thats 2.0s as well, that's deffo the inference.
Gaming wise it was never really my bag, but the wife and visiting kids liked the dance games and the wife loved the fitness thing before MS killed it off. Apart for getting me a red card in fifa once for swearing at it gaming wise it didnt really grab me.
System wise it used to be good works well for voice chat if your not in a big living room with other people, hell i just bought an adaptor for mine to use with the one X.
Guess once it wasn't included in every box it was doomed to die a slow death. With MS allowing PC webcams to be used on the xbox one this was fairly obvious. Guess they want you hooking up your standard webcam for streaming and skype now.
Hope they don't 100% kill support for it and send it the way of groove and Zune. I'm starting to have a collection of dead MS products building up now. my Zune, My Windows noika phone (that one was work not me) and now my kinects.

I thought that Bizarre did own the rights to PGR and that they went with them to Activision, and of course, Activision being the parasites they are, closed BC later.
However, according to Wikipedia, it seems Microsoft still own the rights to PGR:
Activision announced that Project Gotham Racing 4 would be Bizarre Creations' last game for Microsoft Game Studios,[4] and Activision did not pursue the rights for the Project Gotham Racing franchise.
In which case, I would love to see PGR via backwards compatibility/remastered.
