*** Nintendo Switch ***

Body is ready for another Xenoblade, combat of Xenoblade x looked kinda bland but was great once playing, but it’s the shear scale of the these games that makes it for me

The little child of 20 years ago still in me is actually kinda hoping the Pokemon RPG turns out to be a really good re-imagining; it'll be the first time there has been a mainstream Pokemon RPG on the home console. I'm guessing it'll just be something like a Sun/Moon remake, but it'd be awesome if they really went to town; so much potential now the massive restrictions have been lifted substantially.

A 'Pokemon Legends' featuring every region from the previous mainstream games, with MMO elements would be amazing....and will probably never happen.
The 20th Anniversary film just hit western shores so in terms of timing, it'd work.

Just can't help but think Gamefreak will put in minimum effort as they know it'll sell regardless, when it could be so much more.

MAYBE Nintendo will really push them, and we'll get the Pokemon equivalent of Breath of the Wild or Mario Odyssey, but I don't want to bet on it.

The Bamco news is interesting though it does say exclusive so it probably won't be Dark Souls ports?

I also read that Grezzo are hiring UE4 devs. Perhaps more Zelda stuff incoming?

Doom reviews are rolling out. Sounds fine, just low res and issues with the joy con sticks being a bit small which was a concern I had. Obviously fine if you own a pro controller.

Ultimately I imagine if you missed the game last year then it will be fine to play on the switch as a first time! However owning it on another platform, I think I'm fine without it. Great to see the support

I do feel through that Doom and Skyrim especially should be £20-25 max. Wolfenstein, sure full price makes sense even as a later release but Skyrim is rather old Now, i do feel they are taking the Mick a bit. Just my opinion

Motion controls would be awesome. I will wait a bit and see if they patch it in. Otherwise I'll grab it on PC from Steam :)

Regarding the graphics. I watched some comparison videos earlier. Yes there is a noticeable difference when comparing side by side for sure. But apart from some youtube videos, me personally I have no experience of this game. So it wouldn't exactly make it unplayable. I still think its an impressive feat and looks great.

.

I wonder how many extras sales on other platforms this release will generate. I'm planning on getting the pc version too after hearing so much about it, and I missed it the first time around as I wasn't looking to get more pc games.

Thats a good point. I didn't get it because I didn't have a machine to play it on. I still don't really but my work laptop is surprisingly powerful so should run it, I think :p

Arlos review on Doom on the switch.

In short. He said that yes graphically its not as good but if you've never experienced it before and the Switch is the only console you have, you'll have an absolute blast. Very very playable.
