Unfortunately I believe the X version will only have the option of 4K/30fps and 1080p/60fps. Still a decent step up over the regular Xbox One version anyway I guess.

Not too sure, hopefully, is the original 60/30? Feels pretty smooth if it's running at 30.

I've got it digitally so playing on PC @1440p as well as X1 and it does look glorious but as you say no HDR.

I believe it's 30 on standard Xb hardware at the moment

I flicked between 30 and 60 on pc the other day and it's not that bad. 4k and HDR would make up for that

Yeah definitely, 4K at a solid 30FPS and HDR would be all good in my book.

Anyone played Path of Exile? That's been patched, always wanted to try it. Said to be a great free to play model

I played it the other night, it actually looks pretty good (although not the best animations etc) but I just didn't like the game very much, many may disagree but not a patch on something like Diablo imo.

so my lads xbox scorpio just decided to turn off last night and would not turn back on ?

did some digging and found a one post from the whole interwebs that said they had the same problem and it seems the ac cables are either faulty or underated on the amp side?

plugged in the one from his s and its working now but this shouldnt happen do i contact ms or go back to gamestation ?

I can understand That, I may grab D3 as it's been enhanced too and I bet that's great on It!

Impressed with the X so far and i have a pretty decent pc to compare it with i cant believe how quiet this thing is though i had to check if it was even running.

Downloading games on xbox is pretty slow though compared with steam and even the microsoft store on pc but i guess live its getting battered lately.

To be fair my download speeds have been pretty good. Certainly a lot better than when I was downloading a bunch of stuff when I last properly used my Xbox, a fair while ago now. Seem to be hitting 150Mbit+ even during the day on my 200Mbit connection. Certainly far better speeds than PSN has ever given me which is nice.

Well at least 4k blu ray playback is fixed now. No more washed out blacks with firmware 1711.

Any ideas which colour depth I should select on the xb1x chaps? My tv is the 49uh661v if that helps. Just that the colours look a bit dull looking. Unless theres a setting Im missing somewhere? Cheers.

Definitely get your console exchanged. I had that error as well as many others. Sent the console back to Very for a refund (not exchange, as they said it would take 14-21 days to even check the console). Bought a new one from Argos earlier and everything has installed fine and had a few hours playing on it tonight with no error messages at all.

Don’t waste your time trying to restore you console and don’t put up with countless errors. The console is faulty - get it swapped!

I think mines arriving today, arrived at the local dpd depot at like 4am so hopefully! Fingers crossed I don't get a faulty One, didn't realise the issues some were having. A friend of mine had the same and got an instant swap and upgrade to the Scorpio at Game which was fair

Have you got your rgb level set correctly, standard on Xbox and black level limited/low on TV.

Your TV has an 8bit panel I think, so you want to select 8bit ?

Looking to pick up a few games in the black friday sales hopefully.

Want to get Forza 7, can anyone recommend anything else, also looking at Gears 4 and TR Rise of the Tomb Raider, can't decide on which to get first if any of them enter the sales, as Im trying to go all digital on the X the prices are high at present but I think some good deals will be available shortly.
