Xbox One X

I was expecting more from wolfenstein after the reviews and praise in the forum's. Looks good but I wasn't sat there thinking it looks better than halo 5 or gears 4

It's a different style I guess, I'd say it's on par with those but halo does great things with lighting effects etc!

That game itself seems good though, the auto aim is a bit over generous!

Tempted to return my LG 4K TV 59 AO and pick up the UE49MU6220 Samsung, it has £50 off atm bringing it down to £449!

Anyone have this TV? Any opinions if curved are any better? It seems a better spec than the LG I picked up earlier this month (43UJ6300)

I had a LG c6 for about a week, so slightly curvy, and in terms of aesthetics, much prefer the flat, normal Sony that replaced it

Anyone tried Ghost Recon woodlands on the Xbox one x yet ?

I've tried wildlands if that's any help :p

It looks and runs smoother on the One X, but I only have a 1080p screen so don't have HDR or anything to see that side of the improvement.

The main gripe I had was the sub 30fps in parts, which seems all but eliminated on the One X

What is that game like? I always hear mixed things but it was like one of the top selling games for ages when it came out

I've found it really needs to be played in co-op on the campaign, else it can get a little repetitive on your own. The mission types are the same all over the map - i.e. hostage rescue, clear base, plant bug, recon area etc. If you've got a couple of mates who have it or willing to try it, it can be a good laugh though, especially trying to co-ordinate missions where you need to do it undetected, and one of your mates happens to be a wannabe Rambo.

I haven't tried the new PvP multiplayer mode yet, so can't really comment how good that is.

It looks great, and the gun-play is quite good, there are hundreds of different weapons to collect and numerous modifications for each. Fairly low key RPG elements with the skill system/resources etc so there is at least a sense of progression.

I believe there's a 5 hour trial or something like that you can download. That'll give you plenty of time to see most of the mission types and form an idea of whether you'll like it.

Any thoughts on the Skyrim/Fallout 4 enhancements? Played through them both already, but with them being on sale digitally i'm wondering if the enhancements are worth diving in again.

I have, definitely looks a bit crisper but I wouldn't say it's mind blowing like some of the other updates.

Im currently transferring all my games via wifi from xbox one to xbox X as i havent a external hard drive yet. Its taking a long time. Can i not use some sort of cable? Just to make it quicker.

Is there no way you can connect them both via network cables it might speed the process up.

Thanks for the reply! Not too sure how often I would squad up with mates, may download this trial any way just to take a look

Cheers
