The American is bemoaning the fact that, though he respects the position of President as the head of the US sate, he loathes the current incumbent with a vengeance and that this is causing him some conflict.
The Brit replies "Ah, That is why it is good to have a Monarchy" "We can love and respect our head of state and yet at the same time loathe our Prime minister and feel free to throw eggs at him"
I thought about this when the Missus mentioned that she was going to have to become a UK citizen. Does she need to wait the prerequisite amount of time and then apply? Does she need to do a citizenship test? Will she attend the ceremony with the common folk? Or is it the case that getting nailed by a member of the line of succession grants certain privileges in that area?
