I've got the same sofa! I say got, it's currently in the shed as we've got a new sofa due to us changing the rooms around and knocking a wall down recently. That cozy corner sofa is ridiculously comfy.

Nice bit of damp in the corner, think one of the 3 wire holes must have been leaking which is on the sea-facing side of the house so fairly exposed. And I'm loving the electric wires which haven't been chased in where they were out of sight :rolleyes:

Just waiting for a plumber to actually get back to me about removing the fire and putting radiators in.

Gonna have to use my old phone for photos this one is just awful..

That fireplace is nice. I might have considered keeping mine and improving it if it had been done with that type of brick.

Yeah i don't mind the fireplace as much, it's more the other walls in the red brick i think feel out of place.

Take the fireplace out, add some more sockets in or other wires like TV etc.

some people call removing chimneys sacrilege but I call it MODERN!
