Metro: Exodus [E3 2017]

I'm liking the sound of some of them changes. Glad its not in the metro any more and the scavenging/crafting element sounds interesting.

I hope it'll run ok on my 970 though. I was hoping to get a 1070 before this game, but that doesn't look likely now :(.

Not a chance if you're expecting all the bells and whistles, i'd say you'll need at minimum a 1070, but a 1080 would be the go to card.

Same here, Metro's been a brilliant series so far, As for the graphics card I imagine it'll do a great job at 1080p. Just tweak the settings a bit. I'm hoping they'll be no more demanding than the originals were in their day.
 
Are the new beefed up consoles a lot better than a 970? I don't mind turning some stuff down, just hope it still looks half decent.

I just can't justify £700 for a gfx card at the moment so am thinking of getting a PS4 pro instead. If the worst comes to the worst i'll have to buy it for the PS4 instead.

Now definitely not the time to be buying a graphics card, I don't think there's much in it, A 970 will do a good enough job. Especially if it has Nvidia Gameworks stuff inside or Physx as the last Metro did.
 
Bugger, just seen its been pushed back to the fall of the year, so anytime from the end of Sept, to just before Christmas :(

I wounder how much this new tech they trying to push through this game has effected this choice for delaying the release? Microsoft/Nvidia was going to use Ray Tracing on this title something only the newest Nvidia GPU would be able to use.
