This game (plus others) is going to be available via the Xbox game pass. Is it worth it?? Any downsides??

Good fun with friends and it’s stunning to look at. We Could have something special here.
I played the beta and hated it. I don't have really anything good to say about it. It may be fun (for a short while) with friends but it's not a game you'd want to play by yourself or with randoms based on my experience of the beta.
The graphics were bright and colourful but not to my taste and I thought it ran pretty poorly on the X, when you start to run it does some weird zoom effect. It actually made me feel sick playing it after just a minute or so.
I didn't like that fact there was no customisation of characters at the startup up only choices of randomly generated pirates.
One to avoid for me.

I played the beta enjoyed it a lot playing with friends, hope the full release reaches my expectations
Downloading Sea of thieves now via Gamepass. I’ve started the 14 day trial so I’ll have two weeks of free pirating before I decide to keep it going or not.
Hope this game is good and gets more attention. It’s made by Rare and has pirates! What could go wrong.

is this game online only? or does it have a single player campaign
I think it’s all online but you can play solo if you want.
I'm guessing you need a C/C attached to your account to get the two free weeks ?
Is this game any good solo? I've bought it because I do like the look of it but don't really have anyone else who will be online.

yeah, been on for about an hour and have no idea what to do. I had a vague idea from the beta but thought they would have fleshed things out.
looks like it needed another couple of months in the oven.
