What have you done to your car today?

What I did to my C63 (yesterday) ?

Traded it in!

A change in job means I'll be doing way more driving. A 6.2 litre isn't exactly cheap to run, so I'll be picking up a lovely w205 C250 AMG Line Premium Plus wagon in a few days. I got the Mercedes dealer to agree to switch out the horrendous piano back centre console for a black Ash version, much nicer! :D

Weird choice. I just picked up a second car.

Stripped the factory audio/navigation modules from my E46 ready for an Android headunit to slot in later. Also ran a cable from the dash to the boot in the blistering heat inside the car. Tres fun!

Annoying job but needed to be done, it's amazing just how many different things are needed to make the dumb screen up front work :)

Every day you start it up and drive it, a little bit of you will feel like it's dying inside :(

As seems to be suggested by a lot do people online the Walbro 255LPH fuel pump I fitted a few weeks back is over running the stock fuel pressure regulator, "cheap" fuel pump upgrade isn't so cheap once you factor in the £310 in AEM FPR and Goodrich 200 series hoses and AN fittings

Changed the gearbox engine mount back to OEM whilst chasing a knocking.

Turns out it's still knocking, and I really can't be bothering with that job again.

Not related to my car but its car related.

If you enjoy it this year then look up Team Langoustine. It's English only and has 24h security in case the cars you're in are valuable. Onsite bar/showers too :)

Have a great weekend!

Thanks, can see me getting hooked on it. Boss goes every two years and has done for years so I am tagging along this time along with a few others.

My GT-Four has turned into a GT-Two! Have had to remove the rear sub frame to get at a seized alignment bolt which is going to be fun drilling that out! You can see why it is a Group A homologation. Was a total breeze to remove and only took me a couple of hours from start to finish.

Was in a garage having a MOT once and mechanic had a Renault Scenic up on ramp changing steering rack - Next time I saw him asked if it stopped the knocking - No - turned out to be lose sub frame bolts - Did you put the old rack back on ????-They diagnosed it -- guess the answer ?

Another job off my list - changed front drop links - ordered a air filter and pollen filter - air is ok but the pollen is a pig of a job
