We had a brief respite from the heat and humidity in SO18 just under an hour ago, a bit of rain during my cycle commute home, lovely!

Met Office forecast seems completely oblivious to this rain on the south coast, showing up on other sites, but in fairness they've not updated since 1300.

When I work a late shift, I have to take the bike as there are often no car parking spaces left. Wheeled it out of the garage yesterday lunch time -

I shoulda just wheeled it back in and got the car keys...

Tbf, this was 33°C at first, I think the engine running moved it up to 37.5°C

For days. I have to stay awake until the early hours, when my body's desperate need for sleep ensures I nod off the second I lie down.

Opposite for me I have no problem getting to sleep but I wake up after only 4-5 hours due to the humidity/warmness and sleeping funny.

I thought it would be fresher tonight but it’s worse. It’s still hot and the rains pushed the humidity right up. I’m dripping!
