My PS4 Pro doesn't have those issues. All the games you mentioned run amazing on my TV. It must be your TV mate.
You mean your TV somehow magically runs those games at higher FPS than they are designed to run at? That's one amazing TV you have. Motion blur is a thing in games. In GoW you can adjust it, but I couldn't find a setting I liked and turning it off caused other issues. These things are part and parcel of console gaming, nothing to do with the TV.
I think while consoles are still mostly running at 30fps (and even when they finally do 60 consistently), PC's and GPU's will always have a place. My son brought his PS4 Pro over recently and we spent some time playing God of War, Horizon and Monster Hunter World and while they looked beautiful (partly due to the OLED), I couldn't swap over to one. The motion blur on GoW for example was horrible and 30fps was just no thanks. I was glad to get back to my lowly 100hz LCD.
Yes, those games run very smooth for me. I have none of the issues you mentioned. Maybe you need to turn GAME mode on. Motion blur isn't a problem.
You also have to take into account the IQ of PC vs Console. What have they adjusted on consoles to get the 60FPS?
My son doesn't have an issue either. It's what you are used to I guess but coming from a PC monitor it was bad. Motion Blur is a problem. It's there so 30fps doesn't look so ****. Maybe you don't notice it and that's fine. Doesn't mean everyone will be the same.
(although the black levels of the TV really make everything pop).
I bet!
Cost effective, high resolution, high refresh rate, HDR monitors can't come soon enough IMO.

Now that we know the new GPU's are coming out. Is anyone going to wait until the launch, then go buy a 10** series card?

Were expecting Pascal cards to stabilise where they are now, or even move up a little.
NoooooooooooooooooooWere expecting Pascal cards to stabilise where they are now, or even move up a little.
Nooooooooooooooooooo
Lol this is far from true. I ain't super rich however a TV gets 1000s of hrs use over its life so is easy to get it past the boss. Also my fairly high end 4k TV was far from 4k (£1680) not cheap by any stretch but not 3k (funnily enough the one I wanted was 3k)
But that said the price conscious are not looking to buy an 1180 OR A 1080TI. IF you game at 1080p you are lucky as no need to upgrade
