Nice pongs and gorgeous whiffs. The Aftershave thread!

Here's my collection, as I said I buy a lot of decants as its cheaper than full bottles and I like trying different/niche stuff then go full bottle if I like it that much, I have a few that are on the FBW list.

The main stuff in the top pic and the splits shelf in the wardrobe. :D

Ignore the Yodeyma testers, they got sent to the salon where my GF works out of the blue. They didn't want them so they pick some each and that's what I got! They are just copies of other scents, which tbh they ain't bad either. I've got Caribbean (Suavage), Surf (AdG), Root (TdH) and Power (1 Million) - not bad for free I guess.

The 4 bottles at the back on the right are Aventus, Royal Oud, GIT and Viking splits. There are 3 more Aventus splits in the wardrobe which are different batches.

Not overly impressed with the Perfume Parlour stuff, most of them smell similar but they seen to all suffer from poor longevity and projection, I doubt I'll order from them again.

The little bottles in the front are 1ml samples from Fragrance Samples UK.

This is what happens if you spend too much time on Basenotes. :p

1 million privé is lovely stuff. (Reminded me of gingerbread) :D good choice. I can highly recommend 1 million lucky too. I’ve just finished my 50ml bottle and only ordered it a few weeks ago :p

I used to wear Terre d’hermes When it first released. Excellent fall/winter scent.

I’ve got some Versace Eros on order and yesterday also ordered some Guerlain l’homme Ideal Intense :)

Edit. I use the feelunique website to order my stuff as you can get 10% off any brand and change it each 6 months

CDNI on today and its projecting on me something crazy. Had to fill up with fuel on the way to work on the A303 this morning and walked up to the queue line where a 20's something lady was in front of me but being served at the time. She must have caught a whiff as she purposely turned her head around, looked me and smiled. Another compliment in the bag for CDNI.

I've said before and I'll say it again, it's easily my new favourite. I try not to wear it everyday as I am afraid I'll get olfactory fatigue so I wear 2 or 3 others in a rotation and sometimes not even any juice at all to keep the senses alive.

Wish i'd know about Toms decants a few weeks ago!!!!! not badly priced for aventus.

Although it might be me, but I think the latest batch of aventus is a bit rubbish.

I have Lucky too. got a decant of it via Basenotes. (bottom right of the second pic!) Its a great scent too. Funny because I can't bear the original but Prive and Lucky are actually rather good! :D

Ah I see ! Didn’t spot that :D they are both great scents. I can’t help but feel if they didn’t have the 1 million branding...these two would get a heck of a lot more praise! They smell absolutely nothing like 1 million.

What batch? 18D02 is getting a lot of good praise on Basenotes for its musky vibe, like Aventus of old. - http://www.basenotes.net/threads/416244-Aventus-batch-numbers-part-2/page120

I got my samples from Parfums Vintage today - Rush of Unicorns, King Intense, Emerald Isle, Verbena Fields, PV Intense, X Batch - I've had the last two before, but as they come in packs so I had to have them, not that I mind they are both fantastic scents! In fact they all are.

is this a fake? I'm going to buy from toms decant but so far nothing's touched my CDNI for smell or longevity. I seem to remember my sample from john lewis also didn't last very long.

Make sure it's actually gone. Ask someone else if they can smell it. Usually after a couple of hours I can't smell aventus any more but others say its still really strong

I notice with CDNI, when I walk back into my office after lunch is stinks of it....with creed, there's nothing. Hopefully others can smell it on me.
