Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

I would, just for the LOLs about the reaction :D

Well the writing has been on the wall for years with prices and Nvidia has a total monopoly now so the GPU is the CPU market of old, more segmentation and crazy prices.

*Popcorn readied*

Cannot wait to see people complaining about Nvidia trying to bend them over on the high pricing, and just a blink later they are riding on top of Nvidia by their own free will :D

You seem to be getting a little emotional about what I said. It’s okay times are tough.

I didn’t need the Titan V as we all know the 1080ti is enough for 4k

Believe it or not some logic does come into my spending habits, if the card / hardware fits the bill for what I need. I buy with no limit simples.

My Titan V is not up to the job all the time @2160p, having said that why am I typing and gaming on a Pascal card ATM.

The truth is a GTX1060 or RX580 is plenty for 2160p if you are prepared to turn the settings down. Any serious gamer would do this, if someone is more interested in settings rather than gameplay they are not a serious gamer.

Now where did I leave my old DOS based copy of UFO Enemy Unknown......

Yep I should buy a 1060 and go and live in a mud hut.

I want everything maxed the 2080ti is of course bound to give me that edge over a 1080ti

Like I said previously, might as well just paste all the comments post 1070/1080 release into this thread :). Then maybe instead of everyone posting the same nonsense we'll do something else more beneficial to our lives this evening instead :P
Regardless of what people think, they will sell well, probably sell out at times. We are pwned.
The only post I care about.
THink it's 5pm

These have launched at the worst time for me, I'd be all over a 2080ti but I'll be waiting till next year now.

Rumour has it NVidia are going to continue selling the Titan V, this could mean performance wise all the new cards will be below that level and for a lot of people no upgrade will be necessary if they have something like a 1080 Ti.

My bills and household appliance breakdowns have come at the worst sodding time. I was hoping to nab a 1080ti!

My thoughts exactly. I have a 1080ti but at 4k its not quite a 60fps card with everything maxed out. Hopefully the 2080ti will help me achieve that and i can dip out of the arse raping that im getting from Nvidia each time a card is released...

I think you’ll be lucky to get £500 for your 1080ti. They’re going in MM for £450 now before the cards have been released and i’ve seen new EVGA SC2 going for shade over £600 new.
