Choc tubs - celebrations/heroes/quality street, just pop in a sachet of Silica gel with each spool.

I store mine in one of the really useful boxes which clips shut quite nicely.

I was trying to print some stuff for prototyping wearable tech with flexi but I've had a bit of a struggle with it - my printer doesn't feed it very well unless I happen to get it just exactly right - breath wrong or get the print speed outside of a very narrow range it just happens to want to work with that day and it starts spooling up outside the feeding mechanism :s

This is the reason I went with a direct feed for Flexi filament.

One of my Fav's so far, printed with no supports ect

Tried doing a baby Groot last night, and then when i woke up during the night to see how it was doing, it had fallen off the bed and i had a bed full of spaghetti lol

The Creality3d Ender 3 looks good to me.

Have you considered looking at 2nd hand ones? i got my Cetus 3D for £200

Well, potentially. It's going to be a Christmas present from family to me, so easier for them to buy new.

@andy_mk3 Ender 3 for that price range. If you get one now it should be the latest iteration which has a removable bed for easy print removal.

Get it direct from Crealitys shop on eBay as they have really good customer service if any parts missing/broken they just ship them out straight away no messing. It may be a couple of quid more but for peace of mind, worth it.

I have been looking on and off for years, and decided that if i get one i would sooner buy a decent one, to save any disappointment

but all out my price range, until this one came along on a local Facebook grp, and i jumped on it, think it is really good, and does some good overhangs/bridges with no support

Thanks for the link. Is the glass bed a worthy purchase too? Their store is a reasonable price it seems.

I see that logic yes, that does make sense! It's not going to be something I'll be using for massive projects, so not too worried about having the most amazing quality of print, but of course still want something that's up to the job.

I use a glass bed with Insette hairspray for PLA and never let me down. Can't vouch for new removable bed they now supply.

At that price range personally I'd be looking at either the Ender 3 for the bigger build volume and larger range of options (but some construction needed) or the Monoprice Select Mini 3D Printer v2 which can be had just under £200 - comes completely assembled and ready to print out the box and produces very good result with minimal effort - but only 120x120x120 build volume.

The printer knows they are there, and will fill the holes if needed, and I print onto a raft, so no effort needed for removal. Not sure there is any need for fancy print beds, you guys not tried the Masking tape and pritstick method
