What PC games are you playing?

Wolfenstien : The New Order

Didn't give this a go some time back, what a mistake. The gunplay is superb, really like the mechanics (I really don't like 'snap to wall'), and the story is suprisingly good. They've captured what I love about the truly great FPS games, but kept it fresh. I also really like rewards in the way of perks, for any play style. I enjoy the fact that it's super satisfying clearing out an outpost with my knife and silenced pistol, or that I can tote auto-shotguns akimbo and run around like a ****ing mentalist.

What I will say is that I prefer the classic method of picking up dropped ammo and armour as you walk over it, and the 'lean out of cover' mechanic can be finnicky. Also, at maximum settings the game really suffers from bad jaggies. I actually had to turn down some settings to improve this. It might be that I'm only on 1200p, though I find it weird there's no dedicatedoptions for Anti-Aliasing.

A solid 9/10, would be a 9.5 if it weren't for the above niggles.

Also popping into Obeserver when I want slow paced and relaxing. Man they've nailed the atmosphere, I feel like I'm in Bladerunner.

@WantoN Have you tried running it in 4K with nVidia DSR super sampling? I should think the 980 would manage it? Sometimes it seems to clear things up and other times not. I haven't got round to playing the Wolf games on PC yet.

I watched the first video on Steam and my brain hurt. I'd enjoy this I'm sure, but it's not the style of game for me at the moment. Is this your main game or a palet cleanser?

I couldn’t play more than a couple of scenarios a day so it’s more of an inbetweener. Now you’ve mentioned Wolfenstein, I think I’ll play them next. I am waiting for the Mass Effect DLCs to go on sale on Origin before I go back to that series now.

That sounds like me, I often like to change pace, doing that with Observer at the moment.

Really enjoying New Order. I played the 2009 one back in the day, it’s no longer on steam. I’ve got all three to play through, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Can’t go wrong with a rebooted OG done right :D

Hell's bells, what a janky mess Wolfenstein The New Order is on PC. Frame rate drops now and again to the mid-30s, mainly when there're bodies lying on the ground. Was expecting better as it doesn't do this on PS4.

Slowly getting into Battlefield 1 although I did pop back to 4 a couple of times just to say hello, as you do.

Jumped into Doom (2016) for some rare single player pew-pew and enjoyed it a lot more than I expected.

Really strange. Today's session was absolutely flawless with nary a single dip from 60fps. I wonder what was going on the first time. (I replayed the game from the start.)

Tried to play Crysis 2, mainly just to see how my new 1070ti handled it. Got about an hour in and gave up as it just feels so generic and boring after playing the awesome Prey.

Defending Camelot, it's like a fantasy PvZ

Why do I want to play this...How do you even come across these games on Steam.

As per the OP;
Forza Horizon 4 and Battlefield 1.

I hate Call of Duty, I rage quit every time I play it and some YoungBlood reminds me I'm not 12 anymore.
Yet I can guarantee this time next week I will be playing Call Of Duty 4 :(
Thanks EA for delaying BFV.

Batman: Arkham Knight. I can't even get Forza Horizon 4 to start any more and I am not faffing about reinstalling it or Windows just to make that happen.
