Put 20 hours into the beta one of my favourite pick up and go games, a steal at the reduced price. This will go overwhelmingly positive on steam mark my words.

It's a good game, just don't expect an updated original. It's a bit of a twist. If you have performance issues on Nvidia cards change physx to CPU or remove it.

The first one was great but this one doesn't look much difference and has serious performance issues/bugs. Bad texture pop-in, micro stutter even when 100fps solid and crashed on me twice. This is using a 1080 Ti which I have no problems with playing other games

I'm sure it'll get better with time, played some of the original, you're right to get a refund if having issues but I'd say to come back to it in the future when they have a free weekend.

Dont have those issues, im getting 120-144 fps locked at 144 all ultra 1440P only thing turned off is motion blur, whats your cpu?
Also there is an option to have textures saved so there is no load in, turn that on.

Yes it took a few tweaks of the video setting to get this running perfect, but I have it running completely stutter free on a free sync monitor at 120fps.

Lovely game, one of the most immersive I have played where the bullets go pinging past you and you really feel like you just had a lucky escape. There is definitely a sweet spot between being too cautious and too cocky, lots of random things seem to happen which keeps you coming back. I love it when you see a teammate in trouble and you to get a crossfire going and just manage to save them. Don't remember that happening very often in other shooters....so many "Phew" moments.

I had micro stutter problems until I uninstalled PhysX, have heard others saying things were improved with setting it to CPU though. Also on a 1080TI

Where was this setting? I looked for it in game but couldnt find anything PhysX related. Or do you mean in Nvidia control panel?

It's in the Nvidia control panel, not a game setting.

Having a lot of fun with this. Been playing since the first closed Alpha, and the came has come a LONG way since then. There are still plenty of improvements needed, but it is at a stage where I can enjoy it now.

Just bought this and only really want to play against bots and really enjoying it but bit strange if I conquer checkpoints but loose one, e.g D/E the game is classed as failed, seems a bit harsh seeing as though I have managed to get the others, thought it would at least give me a chance to get it back.

You havent said what game mode ,Depends on the game mode.
