You being so gaming focused i'm just wondering because Skylake-X are not good gaming CPU's, even at 400Mhz higher clocks they struggle to keep up with Ryzen.

4.3 all core clock and decent memory timings gets over 2000 on a 2700X but not that many will do 4.3 all core easily.
You haven't offered an opinion, just spouted nonsense.
You asked questions which when turned back to yourself you simply avoided answering.
How does one match a CB score on similar core count if not by either increasing clocks or increasing IPC?

No mention of DDR frequency yet for Zen2 I can only assume that it will be better than Zen+.CAS 14 memory at 1746Mhz (3492) if I'm seeing the screenshot right. That would account for some of the gain. Single core perf was pretty darn good as well.
Anyone know how to ignore someone permenately? I know how to find the ignore button but if I don’t log in and just browse quickly from my phone, I have to sift through post after post of nonsense. Its an inconvenience.![]()
Yeah thankfully I have found that I was just wondering if their was a way of it working when you are not logged in.Click on the name above the avatar, on the right there is a link called "Ignore"

Thought as much. What a shame. It is not possible. Works only once you are logging in.

The other thing I noticed is if Zen+ scores 2074 @ 4.4 then that means that the Zen2 demo was either clocked lower or has no IPC gain at all. The reddit page posted a little while back said that the demo was running at 4.5ghz... Something doesn’t add up.
The biggest problem for intel is that a 16 core ryzen will be beating some of their HEDT range

So what do you think it was clocked at? Logically thinking it has to be something like 4.0-4.2.It would have been clocked much Lower. Back in the day when i used to bench a lot, Intel used me for testing the X58 platform and over a period of time i was sent an ES X975 and then latter an ES X990. On release the 975 had a base clock of 3.33Ghz, the ES i was sent had a base clock of 2.8Ghz 5 months before going retail. The 990 on release had a base clock of 3.46Ghz, the ES i was sent had a base clock of 3.1Ghz 3 months before going retail. ES's are not designed with max clocks in mind, they are used for proof of concept and De-bugging.
That said, of course i clocked the nuts off of both under phase......................my results from that came very close to the final clocks i got from retail chips at launch.

for ANY NDA infringement lol. Even this far out from retail and further though, AMD have a very good idea of the window for clock speeds. So it’s defiantly not unreasonably to assume that retail cards will outperform what we saw at CES and probably on par (at least in cinebench) with a 5+ghz 9900k.Six months out from going retail an "internal ES" could well be within that window yes. ES's in the wild at the moment would be few and far between and under punishment of deathfor ANY NDA infringement lol. Intel for instance, knew full well that the X990 ES they sent me was well capable of hitting over 5Ghz on phase because the e-mail exchange we had was only based around that figure.
Thought as much. What a shame.
