Far right terror is the "fastest growing" threat to the UK

Good, because we don't live in one to begin with.

You know I sometimes wonder at your posts just how bad your life must be or how great an ignorance of history you could possess, that you see social collapse as a desirable thing.

And how delusional about your capabilities you are if you think you would prosper in such a country. Do you have a lot of friends and make them easily? Do you win a lot of fights? Because my hunch is neither of these is true so social collapse would not go well for you. Stop wishing for it every other thread.

When you voted for it (and i did), it's not really a wish, it's inevitable, this country is run by ******* idiots and it's time they were rid of, only the utter embarrassment of being outed as idiots was going to do it.

Politics in this country will change one way or another.

Say that in a German accent and it would sound right at home in 1932 Germany. In any case, I don't much care if you want self-destruction (though I do feel sorry for you), but seems rather selfish to wish it on the rest of us.

Again, your posts smack of someone who is looking to blame others for their own failings.

Poverty will be breeding this extremism, lack of opportunities and lack of education, this all together creates a mindset that lashes out at the perceived victim.
And they aren't wrong in a way, its just their methods are off, wages have stagnated whilst the richer are taking home more of the pay. Far right extremists will blame the cheap labour force from external countries pushing down wages, people from those countries they aren't to blame though. The establishment is.

If people put tribal politics to one side and came together to blame the establishment, a lot more would be done.

Open door immigration doesn't work, it only helps big corporations labour supply, its the easiest thing to change to create more profits. It plunders talent from other countries as well. People who are qualified in engineering and whatnot move to this country and do menial jobs because the wage is better. I dont think thats a responsible thing to do to those countries in the long term, although i understand why they come, and have sympathy towards them, they just want to get ahead

It's often said that immigration increases GDP. And this is true. But it overlooks a few things. Firstly, GDP isn't all about manufacturing and productivity. It's just a crude measure of economic activity. If your landlord puts your rent up by £80 per month, that's an increase in GDP. But is that a good thing for the country? If the bank forecloses on your house because you can't keep up repayments and resells it, that's an increase in GDP. One of the ways in which immigration increases GDP is through pushing up rents and house prices. GDP really is that simplisitic of a measure. Yes - really. Immigration suppresses wages and raises house prices. These are facts. Upper Middle Class people and the wealthy benefit from it because property owners see an increase in value and a decrease in labour costs. Upper Middle Class and the Wealthy control the media and therefore much of the public dialogue. None of this is controversial or arguable. There is a vested interest therefore in discrediting critics of immigration. That is a direct logical consequence.

Now immigration has positives, both culturally and economically. But it can also have negatives in both of those. What we see is that discussing the balance of the two is discouraged. Try and you get branded a bigot and an idiot. And the degree to which you're branded those things is in direct proportion to how effective your voice is in gathering support.

Stating things are facts without doing any research is a bad move

From the bank of England's website

Housing investment is a small but unpredictable part of how we measure the total output of the economy. If you buy a newly built home, it directly contributes to total output (GDP), for example through investment in land and building materials as well as creating jobs. The local area also profits when new houses are built as newcomers will start using local shops and services.

Buying and selling existing homes does not affect GDP in the same way.
The accompanying costs of a house transaction still benefit the economy, however. These can include anything from estate agent, legal or surveyor fees to buying a new sofa or paint.

How many people have far right terrorists killed in the uk in the last 20 years?

I think its wrong to ask this question, we should be looking globally.... people are actually killed every day by Islamic extremists, whether its in Nigeria, or Thailand, or the Philippines, its a global problem and obviously is far more prevalent in the middle east and africa. You wont hear about most of them because if our media reported on every one it would be non stop, a bit like if they reported every death from RTCs.

In other words, far right attacks pale in comparison.

What part of what you just wrote do you think contradicts which part of what I wrote? I'm guessing because you bolded it the "in the same way" part. In the same way does not mean it doesn't affect GDP. You've honed in on one small part of what I wrote to ignore the greater point so I'm not going to go into detail on the fact that it does still increase GDP. I'm going to point out that rent rises and increase in house prices increase GDP and that neither of these things are beneficial except to the owning class. You can read more into GDP in your own time but if you don't accept that my post was correct, you're not debating honestly.

I think it's down to the mainstream media's definition of "far right" being an actual joke at this point. Hell, with some of the people I'm subscribed to on YouTube, I'm probably on the government's far right terrorist watch list.

Maybe they're saying this preemptively for when parliament finds a way to cancel Brexit and it all kicks off!

If I were them I'd be far more worried about the Ireland border situation than so called "far-right" extremists.

If you type a politically incorrect comment on social media then its considered a hate crime and probably scooped up in the figure for being far-right.

Well done SJW's you've blunted your own word.
