Nah there has just been too much build up / story for Arya for her to be snuffed out in the battle. She is either going to get Cersei or Danny.

Felt like it was bringing a nice end to some story lines and getting everyone into that working together mentality. Next weeks is looking to the be 'the' episode if anyone is going to die in battle it'll be this one:

With Jon revealing to Dany, I wonder if Dany is going to die so the true Targaryen heir can sit in the throne.

That was so wrong. She’s my favourite character and having seen her from a small nipper to now that scene was like knowing your daughter is at it with a boy in her bedroom.

I’ve never known a tv show with so many characters I love.
Usually in a show you get like one character who has a redemption arc and becomes a fan favourite like Vegeta in DBZ or Spike in Buffy, but GOT is just full of awesome fully fleshed out characters.

That Ayra sex scene felt really odd*. Excellent episode though, felt like an even stronger part 2 from last week.

did get a chuckle at Brienne's glance, sensing Tormund had come in the room behind her.
not sure about the rest. i'm wondering if Arya's fleeing in the trailer indicates she's going to realise she's way out her depth and lose her nerve; if it turns out to be another pretend thing to lure an enemy i'll probably just turn the TV off. not entirely sure of wasting dragon glass on the top most battlements of the castle :-/ don't think the dead are much for carrying ladders about and scaling heights when they just swarm in through force of numbers.
thought that song was going to be something meaningful and poignant over the final scenes, and it degenerated into one line repeated six times and stopped, lol, utter rubbish.

i think the dead should move on in the darkness; pass by and get the jump on all the forces who will now have wasted all their time and effort fortifying the castle. that would be the ultimate "well....****" moment.

Are the crypts not full of dead?

I think so and fairly certain I saw a trailer before the season started of arya been chased by some sort of black mass so something goes on down there.

NVM just rewatched it don't think it is in the crypts

Would they be "full" of dead tho? I mean, I'd think most of the crypts are so old that the bodies are nothing now.

My guess is that just a relative few recent-ish bodies are resurrected and thus that'll spice up the crypt refugees' night a bit.

Nice filler episode.... 7/10. 1 dont think it was mentioned how safe the crypts are so definitely the place to be next episode for the battle of helm's deep.
