2019 NFL Season Thread

painful for the redskin fans, keenum was a liability, they did mention haskins but said hes only played 1 full season at college so needs time to learn the game

No, it won't. But I got a feeling about Danny Dimes... time will tell. Hopefully I'm wrong. :D

I'm the same, some of the abuse he got on draft Day was shocking and I really hope he rams it down their throats.

Him, Jakey Biscuit and Minshew, those stories are helping make it a fascinating season for me. Also hoping, despite moving on, Bengals will grow a pair and try benching Dalton for Finlay who looked really impressive in pre season. Feels like a real sea change season with old QB's starting to move on, heck I didn't even mention Allen for the Panthers who looked awesome.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. :p;)

I expect he'll look a lot more like a rookie QB in these games without Barkley.

I don't think he will, I just hope he does.

Watching him it's refreshing after seeing the Giants for the last few years, he makes them look like an offence again.

Our defence is AWESOME, but Trubisky still doesn't inspire me in the slightest.

he was really poor last night, the score was a bit misleading as that was really down to your defence, there was talk nagy is trying to "simplify" things, problem is at the moment hes too inconsistent with any throw over 10 yds

One of my team's on RB I have Kamara, Eckler, Conner and Mack.

Someone offered me DeAndre Hopkins for Mack in trade, got to do it yeah?

some really bad hits by the eagles already, helmet to helmet on a punt with no flag thrown, then a late helmet to helmet after the whistle was blown got a flag but the packers player went down lights out, eagles player was acting all upset but he was an idiot came out of no where and the packers player was already stood up

Good win for the Eagles, great win in fact especially with a banged up O and the way the Packers D has been playing.

packers offence had the chances last night but couldn't convert, wasn't helped by losing adams but they still aren't doing well enough for me, that wasn't helped by the best rusher in the team being the qb.

Got to wonder if Rodgers is uncoachable, he just seems to want to do his own thing.

i don't think he's up to that, only long term qb's i've seen recently that i would trust to do their own thing are payton manning, tom brady, drew brees and russell wilson.

Oh, I don't think you know Rodgers the way we know him this side. His arrogance is unmatched. He is most certainly uncoachable.

oh i don't doubt it, after seeing him in a few games he seems to blame either the coach or other players when something doesn't work, and the problem going forward is going to be the head coach they have, really don't think there is any respect from rodgers which just can't work.

I would only trust Manning. No one since him (and maybe, maybe Mahomes may go that route) has been good enough to run a game themselves.

Rodgers is great but he believes his own hype.

Your talking like their ability to throw an amazing pass is linked to their ability to call plays, audible or generally run an offence? I don't think they are... look at Jason Garrett or probably numerous other OC's about the league as examples.

No I'm saying the exact opposite, the two are not linked. He listed a load of great QB's but none of them can run an offence on the field despite how great they are. Manning was the exception.
