If you buy an extended warranty on a Lexus or Toyota, does that not defeat the point of buying a Lexus or Toyota?
Thats on a gt86, not a Yaris.

I guess you have a point, although they do go wrong from time to time, just less often. If you buy an extended warranty on a Lexus or Toyota, does that not defeat the point of buying a Lexus or Toyota?
if you're buying an s300 might as well get a gs300 in uk.The Aristo looks interesting. Bit cheaper too.

Non turbo 2JZ?
Update
S300 NA
V300 Turbo version
No.Do you think it's worth importing one of these?
It's worth noting at that point that you have all the worst maintenance costs of owning a GS plus all the worst maintenance costs of owning a Supra.v300 is a 2jz turbo tho so that's the one you'd want to import.
Finally the GS450h has better performance, better mpg and there isn't really much of a difference in reliability as it's the same car just with a hybrid system bolted on for quicker acceleration (and like most things Lexus they don't break much).
Be careful of owning one of these, great car but the suspension really isn't suited to british roads.
That was basically fixed a couple of years into production, if it bothers the OP he could either buy a later model or buy an early model and get the later shocks (or aftermarkets) installed.Be careful of owning one of these, great car but the suspension really isn't suited to british roads.
