They have been around that price since launch. It was a question of highend B450 or entry X570.

Got a B450 tomahawk max running a 3900x effortlessly. (Noctua D15 cooling it). Great value although as has been said the sound chip is average.

What i gather from reviews the fan doesn't even come on unless the chip-set is actually stressed and for that you need to be hard polling a bunch of NVMe drives or a PCIe 4 drive, even then its a low RPM fan that you can't hear over GPU or case fans.

yep...it’s such a none issue....but it was coming from DG
