Difficult when things like this happen

on June 23, Seattle's KIRO-TV reported that 33-year-old DeJuan Young, who was critically wounded on June 20, was shot in a separate incident by different people and a block away from where Lorenzo Anderson was mortally wounded. His shooting, said Young, was motivated by racism. "So basically I was shot by, I'm not sure if they're Proud Boys or KKK," said Young from his hospital bed. "But the verbiage that they said was hold this 'N-----' and shot me." He worries that his case is not being properly investigated. "I understand everybody's going to say, 'Oh, it was the CHAZ zone and ya'll asked for the police not to be there, so don't act like ya'll need them now."[107] Technically, however, Young was outside the zone.[108] "I was in Seattle streets," he said. "So what's the excuse now?"

Possibly. Just because you are a racist doesn't mean you want to actually murder people.

Or he could be lying out of his arse.

I strongly feel the second option is the answer on this one. Lol.

Much more chance of getting caught if you leave the victim alive and if you're gonna pin someone down and shoot them in a racist attack you're going to prison for a long time.

So you mean to tell me that they held him down and shot him, but didn't kill him?

It doesn't say they held him down and shot him

"But the verbiage that they said was hold this 'N-----' and shot me."

It's more likely it was said *to* him, and the pause (coma) was left out when transcribed.

"But the verbiage that they said was hold this, 'N-----' and shot me."

A simple punctuation error can change its meaning entirely.

I even quoted the relevant parts, and you still couldn't grasp it.

The article's about a police free zone and you both immediate call it communist. (Then brand anyone flagging that mistake of yours as "leftist").

:)

You seemed to have missed the fact they had their own little stasi force running around comrade

It is like the pigs in 'Animal Farm' you may be rid of one set of cops only to find that you have replaced them with another set entirely. Communism in all its incarnations does this. The state becomes the police and vice versa.

Are you for real? Studying communism based on Animal Farm?

Animal Farm was George Orwells allegory of Stalinism and it sounds a bit like the Seattle experiment is going along similar lines, power struggles etc. It is not a weighty tome but neither is it a children's story. Designed for easy access in today's language.

To my shame I've never read Animal Farm although I did know the general background to it. So I just read the synopsis on Wikipedia to improve my understanding. Based on that I have to agree it is a complete analogy for communism and how the CHAZ/CHOP is turning out.

It nearly wasn't published, just after the war and people felt we should not criticise 'Uncle Joe'. It eventually was though and became one of his most read books.

It's like far right is used to describe centre right viewpoints, or any position not left.

Not it's not.

Far Right is a legitimate label, though you may disagree with how it's it's used to describe people you think are decent people.

Leftist is just an attempt to associate the left with other 'ist's.

Is being 'leftist' bad? Because I see it get used as a perjorative term and I am unsure as to why.
It's more a catch-all term for those that are drenched in identity politics and 'sjw' ideology. Of course, it also refers to those that seemingly are quite happy to defend and promote communist and socialist doctrine.

Complete, is it? Analogy, allegory, fable, saitire, caricature. Novel for propaganda, directly labeling "ruling class" of your ideological enemy as pigs. Yeah.

How is chaz different from (obviously not communist) self-ruling Wild West towns with their own Sheriff and defense militia?
Only by shouting that they are "police-free zone", which directly translates to "come rob us, there will be no consequences"

Apart from that sheriffs in the Wild West were generally appointed by the AG or ran for office and were appointed after election within the population of those towns? Or that their job was to you know, uphold the law?
