*** Nintendo Switch ***

I'd like to play the Outer Worlds but looking around it sounds like they messed up the port. Should I swerve it?

Switch is my only option currently.

Self repair involves soldering a new USB-C connector on, that doesn't look fun, maybe contact them for a price to repair it.

I dropped into a local shop. £70 with 6 months warranty. Best price I could find. Nintendo have a 28 day back order and I would imagine price would be the same. I am fairly handy but did not fancy the solder job or have all the tools. Heat dispenser solder ect ect

What do you guys think of Luigi's Mansion?

I've had it a while but didn't click at first, went back to it yesterday and having a blast now.

Is a beautiful looking game too.

Bought it yesterday on the currys deal. Spent about 30mins playing it (unlocked the first photo and got the mad scientist fella in his control pod thingy).

Thought the speed of controls was slow and bulky, it's not like mario. Like you say, does look good and I think I'll be in for a good story. Just a shame it's not using the mario engine. Luigi just seems slow.

Its a game I want on sale/2nd hand. I want to play but can't see the replayability in it for me to pay Full RRP

I enjoyed coop with my partner but I haven't touched it since completing it.

It will be the first Switch game I sell when I can be bothered.

Is there an invert vertical look option yet? Had to quit a few hours in as it was too annoying with non inverted :(

edit - just read about the 8Bitdo Sn Pro+ Bluetooth game pad (Sn Edition). Invert can be enabled with this, will have to get one so that I can play :)

Got it myself in the curry's deal but have yet to fire it up, looking forward to it though.
Is it slow compared to Mario as its 30fps vs 60fps?

I haven't played, but I think its more Mario is a fast precision based platformer, and Luigi more shuffles along in the Mansion games...however maybe the poster means something else.

No, I think Luigi is supposed to be this slow, it's just a bit annoying.

Had another 30mins on it last night, managed to get to floor 3 and defeated the second big ghost. It's a good game, no doubt about it.....I just wish Luigi felt more like Mario.

Finally ordered a pro controller. I have had joycon drift for a while, have been putting off a replacement for as long as I could, but weirdly it only happened on the home screen, games were OK. Downloaded Crysis last night, it's unplayable, I'm all over the place movement wise. Once the controller comes through, I will send them in for repair. Thought about another pair of joycons, but until they fix the drift, it's a lot to spend on a broken design
