I would be happy with a product like that!
I might have liked a product like that when Turing launched. Now it's bit late.

That would be terrible imo, 100 dollar price drop on a 2080s.Looking very likely now. Im betting on a lower flavour thats also released around the performance of a 2080S for around $600.
Don’t mock it, those are Kaapstad’s favourite games!Perhaps I could play 3Dmark/Superposition

Yes that is a problem I just cant see that lost ground being made up in one generation we are going to have to live with that for a while yet, maybe it will create more console customers as result seem inevitable at this pointI might have liked a product like that when Turing launched. You won't be getting anywhere near 2080ti +40% for £750 you might just about get the 2080ti +5% at that price point with 2080super +10% coming in around £550. Nvidia will want to give you as little performance as possible while charging you the most they can.None of that pricing makes a lick of sense, it's saying that at $750 you will get 40% more than a 2080ti but $600 gets you 20% slower than a 2080ti... aye??
I mean I'd love it if someone was offering me a GPU for just $150 more for 60% faster GPU but that's not going to happen

Thank you sir, made me chuckle that.

Without intervention, yes![]()
we're talking about amd not nvidia
not that amd will launch products at that price anyway
I find it strange that people consider £700 acceptable for a third tier card![]()

2080 should be 3060 performance
Hence why Nvidia made nearly 66% margin 12 months ago with 2/3 gaming revenue and is still making massive margins despite spending billions of Dollars on buying Mellanox. Turing wasn't as expensive to make as people thought and AMD margins are also fast going up too.I find it strange that people consider £700 acceptable for a third tier card![]()

DP will be along shortly to convince you that it was only around 20%Hence why Nvidia made nearly 66% margin 12 months ago with 2/3 gaming revenue and is still making massive margins despite spending billions of Dollars on buying Mellanox. you are paying more for less silicon so yes i say it does, you can talk hypothetically all you want it makes no difference..Do the tiers matter? If you could hypothetically get 2x2080Ti performance for £300 (I said hypothetically!) does it matter that much if there's a 2.5x 2080Ti card launched at £1000 and a 3x at £1500?
