but the 3 I think you will pull that hot air of gpu back!
I don't think hot air to would go back to the gpu as you have an airflow direction from the bottom fans (including the gpu blow through style fan design) to the top fans and out of the case.

With the design on the current cards that hot air is more likely to be recirculated as the gpu (and its solid backplate) blocking the airflow quite a lot

I think you've misunderstood.

I’m not really sure why you would be worried, it’s unlikely to make any difference. With a normal card the CPU is getting second hand air in a traditional front to back/bottom to top set up anyway.

Air coming in from the back is being mixed with fresh air so what every way you look at it, it’s going to be at a lower temp than air inside the case.

You are unlikely to be close to the thermal maximum of the CPU unless you have a fairly heavy over clock, the chips at the high end aren’t really over locking much either making any over clock far less valuable.

it’s not like the air will be sitting around in the case either, it’s being exhausted very quickly.

I'm looking forward to getting a 3080 despite wishing it had 12 or 16gb of ram. But it should still be a decent upgrade from my 1080. Granted I'm only doing 1440p gaming. None of this 4k/8k stuff.

The big hiccup for me is....my NR200P hasn't shipped...AND its impossible to find a Corsair SFX 750 PSU at the moment.
Are you getting the FE 3080 or going for AIB? I really want the Zotac or EVGA version but not sure how that will fit in the NR200(P) whilst still having bottom fans as intake. The SFX 750s are around but expensive.

GearSeeker videos show you may as well not use the 92mm fan in any position :p With AIO it disturbs airflow, with air cooling tower exhaust is better, but if you can fit a fan on the tower it will outperform the 92mm fan. Exhaust was better because of hot air going out instead of sucking hot air back in like McPhee said.

With a big chunky 3080 or 3090 we wont be able to fit fans underneath, but if they are that big/thick they will use their own fans straight from the bottom of the case anyway.

The biggest temp differences will apply with TG vs vented panel in that case. Looks vs performance as has always been the difference anyway.

hello guys
I received my fuma 2
but something is not right
the pipes tips looks defected

update 1
the seller claims that its normal and since its my first build i don't know if he is right or not?
update 2
I just noticed the picture on the box, the pipes tips are dented , so I guess it's normal sorry guys

Yes, that is normal :)
a lot of coolers have them like that, only some make them all same shape.

Its because they are not capped. If you search google images for the Fuma 2 you will see it is normal and as the above picture shows by Darren its normal on quite a few coolers that dont have capped heat pipes

Hello nr200ers : )

I just received my nr200p today and i'm still thinking what parts should i order.
I'm one click away from ordering gigabyte B550i aorus pro ax motherboard, but someone here wrote it would not fit properly with tempered glass on nr200p, why is that so?

Also, could someone tell me is it a bad idea to use tempered glass with horizontal gpu and an air cooler ? I know tempered glass is meant to be used with vertical gpu, but still, i would love to use TG and still have regular layout.
I am not going to do any overclocking, and i would probably go with a ryzen 3700x. I am thinking of getting aorus 3080 gpu as well when it comes out.

gigabyte B550i aorus pro ax motherboard, What i am using in my NR200P

All ITX motherboards fit, it just some tower coolers height my not fit with TG panel
get 1 or 2mm more using the metal mesh panel.
I have also the 3700x I just leave it on default Auto for now

horizontal GPU and an air cooler are Fine, just if you have the GPU in a Vertical position facing the TG PANEL the be less air

hey there
I saw a lot of posts at reddit saying that the tg panel won't fit with the fuma 2 (for example) on gigabyte b550i aorus pro
but
I saw a guy who used gigabyte x570i and it was a tight fit and a Chinese guy who used asus b450i and also fit
I don't know why with the gigabyte b550i aorus pro is not fitting.
we have the same issue :D
I don't know what mb to order

Thank you. How are you cooling your 3700x, aio or air? If air, can i go with some low-mid profile instead of high tower coolers, since i don't want to do any oc?

Oh, so only Fuma 2 is the problem. Well ok then, i might go with some smaller air cooler.

I Used the Stock cooler that comes with my 3700x at first, then went with AIO
lots of good Tower air coolers that fit , just read some posts ;)

could it be some B550/x570 boards are thicker due to more layers of copper in the PCB
Making the height for tower coolers a little less?

Or maybe just down to how you install the mounting hardware & how tight you screw it down?
or could be some of the same model coolers slightly taller depending on the batch?
