or AMD could be sitting there laughing so Big Navi is so large and pwoerful it could create a black hole and blow all competition out of the water... so therefore they don't care to a certain extent because they have something that is better... no one seems to think that... and I get why and personally i don't believe it... but for me, AMD can do what they want and when... it's as simple as that, they have a market and will come in under what nVidia do... have AMD EVER stated they want to be top of the pile? They ever hinted they would have faster cards than nVidia? No... so, I'm not sure why people are that bothered, AMD will release when they want to, if you don't wanna wait buy nVidia... strange conversations on this board where people are quite personal about what AMD do or don't do... unless you own stocks or shares in AMD, I really don't care what they do... I'll still wait and see what they provide and if that didn't come until Xmas, so be it, I've got a GPU that is perfectly fine and I didn't pay over the odds for.

They managed to imho conquer Intel, as everyone I know now owns an AMD Ryzen now and moved from Intel for various reason... I think AMD know what they're doing.... maybe? lol

I'm actually thinking AMD already know they can't match nVidia and dont' really treeat them as true compeition... especially since the CPU haul they're now doing... who knows

I hope that's true.

However, RTG Marketing should response. No need for us to "guess". Even if its nothing more then RTG being dismissive of Ampere...respond!!!

Consumers have already decided that the TDP doesn't matter if it's Nvidia, which we all know it would be opposite if AMD had cards of this TDP, with this level of performance. It just wouldn't count. "AMD pushing their cards to the edge, hot, power hungry, just to beat Nvidia" - that would largely be the thought pushed around. Sigh.

Seems so doesnt it! The mind boggles at the hypocrisy at times.

I don't understand why they needed to reveal the consoles half a year in advance with all the details while nothing as of today about Zen 3 and RDNA 2.

They have no competition in the consoles business, so it's totally meaningless to build the hype for it.
What do they want - to shift all the gaming to consoles or what?
It would mean less sales for both Ryzen and Radeon.

If an independent reviewer is benchmarking 30+ games and doesn't show the 3070 ahead overall of the 2080TI i'm calling Nvidia full of ####!
