** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Can anyone give me a rundown of the issues with EVGA in the UK? Or point me in the right direction at least. I was mostly looking at their cards since they seem to have a good rep elsewhere.

EVGA used to be golden -- they had UK customer support. Now they've pulled that...

  1. No UK RMA centre anymore (set one up 5ish years ago stating they loved UK customers, then closed it in few years later)
  2. Have to pay for shipping to Germany RMA centre (not much diff from other AIBs though, but more costly to send to EU)
  3. No UK customer support staff
  4. Binned their UK social media team (prob went in hand with the above)
  5. Gibbo also said last week EVGA are less proactive in the UK so they have to rely on distribution these days, which makes me think their cards will be hard to get hold of and be stock issues
I don't doubt they produce good cards and offer a good service still.

But the lack of UK attention really is frustrating and middle finger to us Brits imo.

They used to have one of the best warranties ever but.

1. They have closed their UK RMA centre and you have to send the card to Germany
2. They ignored the UK and last with 2080ti, the UK were the last in the world to get cards, months behind other countries. I had my FTW 2080ti on order for 3 months from them and never got it.
3. Gibbo has said he is struggling to get any information from EVGA (see 2).
4. EVGA hasnt even updated its UK twitter feed of a year now

People have still reported though their warranty is as good as ever when using Germany and they just get a new or upgraded card sent back.

I suppose the issue is that people are concerned that EVGA are basically just forgetting about the UK as a market.

It does say AMD bike.............or is it really the Big Navi 21 and they are starting to drop hints????????

Whoa, pull the brakes there bud - jumping to those kinda conclusions will ruin your suspension. If you follow the chain of evidence, you'll quickly switch gears... getting kinda tyre'd of this ;)

TBH If that AMD post was true, I think AMD would allow some leaks to spoil the nvidia launch party.
I would certainly want to let that slip before people spent their money on NV if I was head of AMD.....
