Yep looked through all the cards and its very easy to see which ones will be in stock. Doesn't affect me, I probably wont buy from here, havn't bought from here for more than 5yrs, pity used to buy everything from here. Anyway moving on. :(

I'd actually rate Palit at the bottom of the pile, mainly because of their paltry, measly, pathetic and frankly insulting two year warranty.

Even PNY give a three year warranty, which is what I consider to be the minimum amount that should be offered.

I don't know who buys Palit cards, but they need counselling, particularly when they're not even the cheapest this time around.

Guilty.

Yes, the warranty is only two years, but my theory is if an electronic device is going to fail due to poor design or manufacturing, it's mostly likely to do so in the first few months of use.

If a fairly expensive electronic product fails outside it's warranty, but within 6 years, the Consumer Rights Act can sometimes be used to get a repair done.

BTW, I chose the Palit GTX1070 due to reviews stating that it was one of the cooler and quieter running cards. It has proved to be reliable, and the reviews seem to have been correct.

my last few generations have been pallet and inno3d. They have been the cheapest of the AIBs and have been some of the best overclockers,

Also guilty, have a Palit 1080 since launch day. heavy sessions over the years, usually PC is on 24/7/365 (less so recently), has been OC'd. Worked flawlessly the whole time - and this is in a case in a cupboard so it ain't cool in there.

Its all anecdotal of course; sample size of 1. Someone (can't remember who) posted reliability/return rates for gfx cards over last few generations and manufacturers... ...Palit were one of the worst IIRC with a return rate of 4% vs the best brands at 2%.

But still - it was also cheapest, the fastest factory overclock at the time, and well it works great :)

FE for me all the way this time round though...

Well hopper may bring about a massive performance boost as it's rumoured to use a chiplet design. It's done wonders for AMD's CPUs and could be pretty revolutionary if used on a GPU.
