I ordered on the 20th so I prob wont see my 3080 tuf oc for months yet..... but my order doesn't show the free game promo but on the zotac card I ordered and canceled it did (only canceled as when I ordered it was showing stock and then got the email of doom)

Was thinking about this over the weekend and it feels like logically there is going to be a tipping point on availabilty that comes sooner than expected, if the manufacturers try to meet the order demand. I like many others have more than one pre-order and will just cancel the one that comes in last. But assuming the retailers are ordering against their backorder numbers then they will end up with a net surplus as others do the same. I wonder if this will result in queue times coming down faster than we are all thikning? Of course the biggest unknown in all of this is what the production capacity is versus the back orders. If they are miles apart it's still going to be a long wait..

Hope that applies to the Gaming X Trio too - 14:18 order, (47 in the queue). But that's probably overly optimistic on my part.

I got the watch dogs code right after my card was dispatched, they ran out of codes but they are trying to get more (only had 1000)
I know what you mean, bittersweet. I want mine, but I know how much joy it'd bring me to see that email, so I am just glad these people who actually want for themselves, not ebay are getting emails. It also means, that people move up the queue
I've had the kfa2 1070 (aka the clown card) since day 1. Still going strong. Did like the look of the kfa2 this time round too, with that optional push/pull fan setup but ended up with the ASUS TUF. Well I say ended up, just ended up paying for.
i get more depressed everyday waiting for such email haha!, awaiting for a Strix OC so got a while to go yet... but just one morning i'd like to wake up to a good news email haha

That'd be good. I ordered at 14:34 but also 100 odd in the queue thing so even if they do come in I think I'd be super lucky to get one.
That's really impressive considering 14:30 would have been considered a bit of a late order and would put you at ~80 in the queue for an MSI Ventus. I also don't recall them mentioning an additional MSI shipment coming in just yet.

Oooh, well done!, sounds promising. I also ordered same card, OCUK confirmed 14.30, but 15.03 confirmed payment time, so mine might take a bit longer (boo hoo)
Correct Grasshopper. "Man who make compromises gets 3080 early" as the wise old Chinese person said. Even if my Palit - the Primark of graphics cards- isn`t the most beautiful
when it arrives it will still do- 3080 things -quite happily and will get me on to the mean streets of CP2077. All the very best to everyone waiting for their new toy..

I don't think it goes by payment processing time, my card is coming tomorrow and wasn't processed until after 5 (PayPal)

...so How bad is it doc? I used the calculator....and i think i'm gonna bleed out! lol.
Rough estimate queue position 1283 of 2.5K card sales....that we know about.
Money aside - is it worth putting a pre order in for another card?..from a pure depth of people in the queue.
By the time MSI get that many cards int stock, i might be better off ordering a strix or even the Aorus Extreme all things being equal?

Think it is a bit of a lottery mate really. I would just batten down the hatches and wait. You are going to be end of the line for any other cards u go for.
Oh wow! I ordered at the same time, but it was the Gigabyte Eagle, that gives me hope
