Just went to the Nvidia website out of interest at the 3080 and took me a few seconds to realise the BUY NOW button was back. So I clicked it and it started to go through the ordering process then the window froze and I had to refresh the screen and it went back to Out Of Stock. Looks like perhaps they just released some items but still sold out in seconds.

149 in queue at 15:29 with a Zotac, feel gutted as my payment was declined at 14:30 and none of the retailers would work for another hour... Oh well at least I picked a card 3% slower than FE (big deal), which means a lot of pedantic people are cancelling their orders. By my calculations I should get mine on the 4th (Staying humble) small shipment.

Surely it is in the manufacturers best interest to ship larger quantities. If shipments are indeed so small doesn’t that point to issues with production?

Typically in situations like this they are building up container sized batches as a priority and air-freighting just enough to keep people from exploding.

Hopefully there are a few containers already on the ocean heading this way, as that will be the larger deliveries expected in October, but as long as they can get them shipped before Golden Week starts they can still make it by the end of October.

I sold my 2080ti on eBay, working perfectly, water-cooled including the original fans, box etc. Showed a video of it working in the description etc. etc. Sent well packed. Winning bidder received it last week and now claims it is faulty. He told me he would put the stock fans back on and I feel he's screwed it up. Saying there is no power and it was like that when he received it. Trouble is, I'm a business seller and have to accept returns within 14 days. So, unfortunately, I'm both £520 + fees, down and minus a 2080ti too. There is one saving grace, is that it is still guaranteed by EVGA. Do any of you know how forgiving EVGA is with regards to water cooling and placing the stock fans back on for an RMA repair? Will they decline or are they pretty good about these things.

Ebay and Paypal are relentless on returns, I have been done over a few times. Sold a drone once that was like new condition, sold it to a lets say, older gentleman, he couldnt get it to work so boom refund. Paypal just take the money, they dont even query it.

I have found hardwareswapUK on reddit is good for selling parts, I have sold all my previous cards on there, and you dont get stuck with the 10% ebay fee. Sold my 2070 Super on their last week, no bother.

I just got an email that said "*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION & PRICING! *** - New reply to watched thread"

Not gonna lie for a milisecond I thought this was a "Dispatched" email....

Ordered Zotac too. Hopefully they fix via bios

Right, I tried it, not sure how well it works though.
Your order number (Starts with 58/59 not OC):
Thats weird considering that my order starts with 40 ...

There are two order numbers (Not sure what the difference is but it matters), one that starts with 58/59, and another that stars with OC. You're looking at the OC one.

That has been happening randomly since last week.
