It looks like after Boris's announcement this evening which will further damage the already fragile economy the pound will slide even further, and if the rumoured negative interest rates are also imposed, then further again.

I'm told that once orders with OC are paid then there is no more to pay if the price increases, I do hope this holds good because it might be a rocky road ahead.

We honour all orders even if we loose money on them.
The same happened when brexit came around first time, NV did a launch we pre-sold 100's or around a 1000 cards we were at around 10% margin. Then Brexit hit hard, the pound crashed hard and stock landed and was paid for and we went from making money to making nothing or losing a little, but all orders were honoured irrelevant as we take payment which guarantees the position along with price paid and also means you have no issues at customer end as there is no payment to clear as it was already done at point of ordering.

Thats good to know mate im runing 32GB plus have FS2020 on a good SSD

Enjoy the new GPU when it arrives. I really only ordered it for MSFS so i can pop the settings up a bit more although once settings are on medium the difference in the visuals is very subtlle. Still blows me away at how stunning it is. Roll on some good 3rd party aircraft developers!

Hi pal. Not sure if this has been passed on but the pic for the Zotac Trinity Extreme Holo is wrong (as far as I can tell). Cheers

Great update, thanks for the detail

Wonder if it's worth getting second hand 2080ti and series X, then again, I'd worry I'd get huffy and want a big Navi or 3080

On another note, someone in the thread said a few hours ago that you might have 300 MSI cards income on a delivery soon. I'm guessing this isn't something you actually know?

We all appreciate the daily updates you give considering some companies don't seem to care. Hopefully this very busy and probably stressful time for you and the time slows down to a more normal pace soon.

i've cancelled my order for the TUF made around 2pm on the 18th - thinking about it i don't really want a company holding a considerable amount of my money without any idea when it will be delivered. patience is a virtue and all that.

So it seems the ASUS Strix non OC card is not even scheduled to be released which is bad news for me as that’s the one I ordered. So please please please @Gibbo , I’m begging you either can you tell me if you have any insider info on when it will be released or if not, if I cancel and order the OC version and idea at all if a I will see a card this side of Xmas or am I well and truly screwed?

Been running a Zotac 2070 while waiting for the 3080 and its been an amazing card for the last 9 months, built well, clocks well runs super cool, doesnt have flashy RGB but then it was cheap as f'k so as my stand in card very happy.

I too run a Zotac 2070 and agree. The version i use is the mini non-oc with a Barrow water block. it is stable with 220mhz on the core and an extra 1000Mhz on the mem (although not actually 1000 thanks to the way ram works) under 45 C with full load. One awesome little card. I will be selling the card and block when the 3080 arrives.

I ordered a Strix OC but while the order went through and shows in my account, no money was taken. I’m scared my bank will eat that money!

Would be crazy to buy a 2080ti second hand when they are still selling for £500-£600 when the 3070 is out in a months time which is on par with the 2080TI for £469.

Either wait it out or buy a really cheap and cheerful card to tide you over like a 1060 6gb till the stock is in place.

What I would do is instead of cancelling and reordering, just ring up OC and ask them to upgrade you to the OC version, you'll have to pay the difference but you wont lose your place in the queue that way, I did it earlier today and was told you keep the same order number and time therefore keeping your place in the queue
