It’s a disasterExactly as that just adds additional strain to the current issue :/
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Hi, I have my zotac on order got it about half three on the Thursday. I didn’t really know where to ask this because I’m new to this forum but if I’m upgrading my motherboard, psu and cpu will I be able to use my hard drives and ssd that I have already in my pc in my new build?
I’m also switching from a rx580 to a 3080 so I’ll need to get rid of the drivers but I’m sure I’ve heard of a program you can download where it wipes the old drivers off, does anyone know the name I can’t remember.
Let me know if you need anymore information about my build.

I'd heard the EVGA cards have been removed, due to their ignoring the EU for now. You're probably right there. They should probably stop taking pre-orders for the cards with zero ETA or ones with very high pre-order numbers.
Source?Team MSI we might have some hope, New EGG had 2 restocks yesterday.. hopefully they get some more cards over to OCUK today!
Nowinstock 3080 had two updates last nightSource?
That is going to be a while. I ordered a few days ago. On Sunday I believe.
FYI for the Gigabyte Vision card - I messaged Aorus on FB about stock, they've just replied...
They explained don't have an exact ETA, but stock is due to be landing in the next 2 weeks for the Vision card, just concluded by suggesting I check with OcUK for more precise dates. Not sure if that means it then goes into distribution shortly after, around then or if it should be with retailers at that point though. Didn't mention volumes either.
Wouldn't surprise me if that's more info than what they tell OcUK tbh

Think you gents pre-ordered one didn't you?
I was just kidding at the articles wording. The claim is that each production line can produce 4000 cards per day and “P.C. nation alone” produced 400000 per month. Indicating multiple production lines per manufacturer. Plus a full half hour of testing isn’t that bad if you can do 250 tests side by side.
Edit: Unsure as to how that will translate for us, but if you were looking for some hope....
So, the 1760 known buyers is "people who entered their order into the sheet". The actual order numbers seem to indicate something closer to 10-13k orders in the first day alone (though we've heard since it may be closer to 7k). The estimator attempts to square that circle, and figure out how many actual orders are ahead - but it doesn't take cancellations or, y'know... the actual data into account. It's best-guess only.Morning everyone, I'm wondering if one of you can help me, I've used the unofficial calculator but all it ever shows is that there are 1760 known buyers which I know is wrong from people being 2k plus in the queue so would one of you mind looking for me. Thanks

Ignore the people telling you that you are wrong/the only one. There are at least a handful of others who have posted in the topic, myself included, whose order number was clearly only generated when their email was sent. But we are in the minority, so for most people the queue calculator is probably no more inaccurate than it was before.
From having read every single post in this topic most people have numbers that were generated in the correct order, including a good number who didn't get their email till later, but there are also a numbe rof us who either ordered over the phone in the first few hours, and have an earlier number than their order time would indicate, and some of us who didn't get any emails until later and based on the order number weren't logged into the internal system till then (mine starts 587 desite being a 15:16 on the 17th order, when the numbers were still in 586... based on how similar my time is to you it might have been the same bit of the system our orders were held up in).
Hopefully once the official queue system comes up it'll be clear they are going by order time, not number, but if not there are enough of us that I'm sure we'll be able to get OC's attention and get it fixed.
[EDIT] Oh and @DEADMONSTOR kindly let me know that 58622XX is the area of order numbers that were being used when I ordered, so bump that by a hundred or two and you might be able to get a more accurate guess from the estimator. The graphs really were shooting up at that points based on the numbers in the spreadsheet
Lol, I am curious though. Who makes the PCBs? Does Nvidia have a bunch of factories that make these and then send them to board partner factories?
