With Gibbo saying "the ones in stock are single digits" the BEST case assumption is he means single digits of a few different models, so what, 30-40 TOTAL. Honestly it sounds like there might not be more than a few hundred of them in the country across all the retailers. Its going to be horrific.

I have been loitering in this thread with interest. I am 938 in the queue for the ASUS TUF (non OC). little to no chance of seeing anything this side of Chriustmas I fear. As a result I have also ordered the Gigabyte Vision (1940 22 Sept) in the hope i have increased my chances of getting a GPU. My first build so not got a current GPU for PC to fall back on and wait....
If you look at the configurator for their PC builds they have plenty of items marked as build stock, so I imagine this is a longstanding practice. It makes sense from a product perspective to keep stock aside as otherwise they'd not be able to sell PCs in this type of situation. I understand the frustration though given the awful situation.Well there you go then, quelle surprise.
I must be in a minority as i think it looks great, much nicer than the usual plastic looking cards.
As far as we know they not sent out any cards to EU

Where did you hear this about OcUK setting aside Gpu`s for Builds....I`m having a Pc System built right now, but was told I had to purchase my 3080 and were not setting aside Gpu`s for builds. Has something changed??

No idea, but they had the Gigabyte in stock and listed as build stock yesterday. The Gigabyte and Asus Tuf are still listed as build stock, but are currently out of stock. I guess it depends which card.
