The RTX 3090 is a 100% gaming card. Professionals go for the new A100 or Quadro, Titan etc. The 3090 is a specked up 3080, with more vram, and that's it. You're paying double the amount for around a 15% increase in performance. It's an awesome card, and I'm in no way shooting it down. But like many reviewers have said, in terms of value, it's not that good compared to the 3080.

Selling two to pay for the third. Not selling on Ebay; that would be a disaster.

OCUK could have the same estimate and not want to put it out, imagine the ********* thats going to happen if the other retailers ETA turns out to be inaccurate. People wont be happy about it

It is only OCUK "as far I know" who basically reminded silence with the whole thing. Some other retailers are more open or vocal to give customers information regarding the cards. I think by this point they only want to secure as many sales/pre-orders by remaining as silent as possible. Although, I do not think that they would know exactly when all of the shipments are coming, what they should know roughly is how often shipments are to be expected and how big. Imagine having to wait for 2, 3+ months without ever knowing when, eventhough you paid in full.

Looks like my order is being shipped too. Im ordering a few other things along with a 3080 asus tuf, non oc.

Ordered at 2-3pm on release day, and already received the watch dogs code via email. (Which i tried to claim on geforce experience already, but it doesnt let me until i have the card in)

Congratulations, enjoy the card mate! No envy here at all...

Just wow. Maybe reason @Gibbo cannot give ETAs as they are unable to be bothered to detect multiple purchases are same addresses or multiple fake accounts. Yeh it is unhealthy to assume, but evidence keeps growing somethings not making sense, even the order times.

You know stores don't have to limit stock to 1 per customer? The cards aren't limited, they'll be manufactured for months to come.

Wow, that's an interesting failsafe there. What was your unofficial queue number?

I think some Gaming OCs have been sent out but I haven't seen anyone report back on the Eagles. Really hoping for an update on Gigabyte shipments soon.
Yeah, it's quite a popular card but I've not heard anything either. Do they have a Twitter or anything? I don't use it but it might be worth asking them on there or some other social network about it. They've been quiet.

It's people like you that are literally causing the issues everyone is experiencing in this thread? You're inflating the price for your own gain and causing supply issues.

Well, its a luxury good, its not like the dude is stockpiling essential items. (Like dried pasta and toilet rolls :D)

I still fault nvidia on all this, for whatever reason there seems to be nowhere near the stock levels required for launch. The whole forcing NDA on retailers is quite evil, as it effectively makes the latter look like villains that dont want to distribute cards.

You're a scalper, plain and simple. I don't care if you thought you were being 'business minded' and out to cover your costs. Orders like this are truly pathetic during these types of launches. The world ain't fair, and I get that. But to come onto a forum with a brass neck like yours knowing people are waiting, just to let people know 'TWO' of your three orders have shipped, is rather angering. I hope they do catch that out and shove the other cancellation up your arse.

Currently, I'd argue they're extremely limited but I get what you're saying. I think the general consensus though is that before people get multiple everyone should have the opportunity to get one.
