17:07 on 17th, and the unofficial queue put me at 880th*. Although ~200 orders seem to have already been shipped, judging by posts here, so that does give me some hope.

*Not including orders already shipped or cancelled

If you look at the database, the majority of the TUF cards got ordered after 5. You are probably a little less than you think. I was 16:53 and 720th. I reckon I’ll be quite a bit less due to this, cancellations and already fulfilled orders.

Hey guys, I am interested in what monitors you are all pairing with these cards? I'm wanting to go 4k just to cover all the bases, but don't know whether to splurge the extra on a higher refresh non-TN version, I guess it would be nice to downscale to 1440p high refresh in some games, then in others play full 4k.
Cheers!

CS told me "considerable time" as well so I think it is a blanket statement. I'm about 60 in the unofficial queue for the Eagle for reference.

I think you are right. If they say "considerable time", then they are not tied to any time frame - it could be next month or next year. For many it looks more like next year.

Not sure if i should return the Asus or sell for profit. Only ordered it as a back up but had no idea they were going to be so rare/impossible to get. If someone is will to pay more for it to get now then maybe i should let them ? lol Online retailers are boosting the prices for stock they don't even have !

I recently bought a Samsung Odyssey G9 49", it works great. Had a Philips 49" ultrawide previously, which was good and a Samsung 4K 32" prior to that. With some games, it's a pain, but there are always some mods that quickly come out in the community for ultrawide. Previously had a 2080ti, which I sold on eBay and the buyer managed to kill and then claim the money back from eBay, claiming I sold a faulty card - I'm a business seller, so have to accept 14-day returns, no matter what! Have bought an MSI Ventus 3080 from OCUK number 434 in the unofficial queue. Yesterday bought an EVGA 3090 from Scan, who have confirmed that I'm in the first batch due on the 5th October - this card works well for me as I work in media from home, once I've finished work, I can then game!

Yeah i'll be going 1440p got a 165hz MSI monitor so i look to make gameplay as smooth as possible dont think i'll go full 4k for awhile not unless more games benefit from DLSS 2.0 then i may take the plunge abit sooner

asus will do everything in there power to get it to you in october:) between amd on the 28th And the fact that rebates from nvidia witch is to belived to be around £45 will end if they dont get it to you in october so they could loose a order to amd or loose £45 ontp of your money:) i can see all compainies pushing as hard as they to get massive stocks to stores
I would certainly be very happy to receive in the month of October so hope you are right :)

That being said as my order did not go through until 15:24 If I'm told "not likely until November" and i know my rough place then I can live with it.

Long time lurker here of this thread.

I've been in the same dillema. I've currently got an iiyama 24 inch 144hz that has served me very well but only outputs DVI-D and HDMI (old HDMI, not sure what version).

Still waiting for my 3080 but knowing that's only got display port or HDMI 2.1 has forced my hand in getting a new monitor, on the basis that an adapter would only give me 60hz unless I shelled out on an 'active' adaptor £100+ in cost

I'm really interested in an Ultrawide which would be great for games, but part of me would miss the second screen for shoving another application on - and it would look odd with a random second screen at the side of an ultrawide.

Selling for profit would be no better than the bots and a pretty scummy thing to do imo, in your position I couldn't justify it morally, but you'd be well within your rights to do so I suppose

I've just picked up the 27 inch 165Hz 1440p Dell - 27 inch 4k seems like a waste and I don't have desk space for a 32 inch + screen. I may get a 4k TV to replace the 1080p one that I currently use if I want big screen gaming.

Ooft that's a badass monitor, stuff is gonna look sweet on that once it's all up and running. Not sure I have that sort of budget to spend on one sadly. I think I saw your post in the ancient pages of this thread about your ebay troubles, I'm sorry, that's really ******. Hopefully you'll be able to maybe get it back and salvage it somehow.

Cheers

If you are selling cards at a profit you are part of the problem..........

Return it, and then give someone else an opportunity then.
