Why do you care so much. The whole idea is to seize the day, not live on ''Hope/Faith/Belief/Trust'', thats all your left with, when you have nothing else, we haven't quite reached that stage yet. I take it your into 1080p gaming, and there's nothing wrong with that imo?.
1440p actually 144Hz

I agree, they should be finding a way to communicate with all their customers (not just forum members like us) about queue positions, stock, what's been delivered and what's been shipped like you say.

A simple webpage like another site has created would be perfect, something people can check everyday, that is updated daily so people can stay informed without having to worry.

Instead it feels like OC are vacillating and not being clear about what's going on which is then leading to people wanting answers, calling them constantly etc which OCUK clearly don't like but frankly, the reason it's happening is because they aren't providing clear information to people.

It's poor customer service, people can spin it whatever way they want but that's what it is.
Agreed.
We need some more details if and when we getting out cards.

I got £470 for mine Early August but had no backup ‍... Gaming on an i9 9900K isn't much fun, learnt my lesson for next time.

Have you looked into services like Geforce now and Xbox Gaming pass in the interim? Worthwhile signing up for trials and you can stream the games to your PC if your internet is decent enough. Won't be great but a decent stopgap while you wait. Better than integrated graphics...

Considering people switching their pre-orders now are expected to get their zotac's in the next shipment, it looks rather good for someone like me who got their order in on the 17th, even if it was at 15:29.

If I didn't have severe social anxiety I would just call them up to confirm, but woe is me.

An export flatfile of the order number, product name and customer could be imported and transformed in excel via power query into queue calculation tables.
Just sepearate each item name into a new table or create some conditional flag columns in m/pql code.

You don't even need to be that advanced; as you say, just export a flat file with order number and product and break it out into each product. People can find their own order number in the list.

So glad I cancelled my OCuk order (asus rog strix 3080 OC) 3 days ago. Was like 1100 in the unofficiel queue. I then ordered from a local retailer saying he would have a dispatch soon. And according to him the supplier will provide them with cards from all brands except EVGA monday !! Of course, it will not be hundreds or thousands, but we're not hundreds or thousands neither to have ordered for them

i have real bad anxiety dude! had to get my mum to call and place the order! but the site kept crashing for me i couldnt make it to payment

https://www.palit.com/event/promote/2020/wdl/ wonder how this promotional gift will stand with the delays in the 3080 ? end of november the gift expire's So i would imagine they plan on getting much more stock out
I'd love to give more specifics and exact dates but its difficult due to the length of production and shipping. I would say on all cards (including the TUF 3080 ceekay), we should see more regular shipments soon, with the quantity ramping up further in the coming weeks, but demand has been beyond everyones expectations. I'll be working closely with Nvidia and OCUK and we're doing everything we can to get more stock and fulfil authentic orders
it is almost like this is nvidia's and the partners first rodeo, how can demand be so high? youve done this a thousand times surely you understand that demand is always high for the newest and latest tech.

Just requested to cancel my MSI Gaming X order so those in "the queue" (ha what queue) for one of those have just jumped up one place.. I think ill get a £200 cheaper FE direct from NVIDIA's website quicker...

OVERCLOCKERS... seriously if you want to keep customers then publish this simple info and dont tell me you dont have it.... Each pre order should come with a queue number so we know how many orders for our exact card is in front of us... and everytime you fulfill a batch of orders for that card - just ping us a notification to say youve jumped up to xxxx in the queue.... SIMPLE - we know where we stand and you will keep customers... all this lack of comms and uncertainty is a load of crap. I purchased my card on paypal's 4 month interest free credit and it looks like it would be out of its interest free period befotre i got the card. so thanks to your lack of comms - you lost my order and probably any subsequent orders too....

Im not blaming you for the lack of stock - I am blaming you for taking the money and giving me no info in return.

Well said mate, solid suggestion.

Thats for the OC model though. Dont think that was there on the 17th

The chap I spoke to recommended the Zotak trinity OC and said I'd likely get it sent out from the first batch when they receive a delivery. Feeling a lot more hopeful now :).

Caveat emptor. The Zotacs are typically poor performers, with the std. Zotac Trinity performing worse than the Founders Ediition.

Hello, just ordered Gigabyte RTX3080 with guaranteed delivery date 10.10.20... Just want to know if it is a regular delay or something goes wrong? I am from London, but ordered in Netherlands at No competitors I have checked them for their genuine status, but have never ordered with them before, and now I am just confused about the delivery period... :( please calm me down...

Yeah tried a bit of GEFORCE NOW but connection was too shaky, plus no ultrawide support etc. Settled for playing DEUS Ex with mods and various older games which has been reasonably enjoyable. Will look into Xbox though, thanks for the suggestion!

Why would anybody here know about your delivery with a different store? haha

Supply worldwide is extremely limited and all retailers blew through their stock quickly, its going to take weeks if not months to catch up with demand

Hmmm... I have huge concerns about a store that only accepts bank transfers or cryptocurrency.

Whats all this i just need to be patient was overclockers patient waiting for payments? was nvidia patient with a release until they had the right levels of stock. **** been patient no one else has been patient.

You be patient when waiting for your tea, not when you have shelled £700+ and have no delivery date or even information of when you may receive your item that is already paid for! They are not doing you a favour we are doing them a favour by buying from them.
