Very simialr to me with Barclaycard. Got the order through at 14:03, payment declined, suspected fraud. By the time I got through to them, and they cleared the payment, it was too late. Payment went through at 16:43. RIP. This was even despite me ringing them to tell them I'd be making a payment of up to £1k to OcUk. They cost me 2 months of waiting.

i'm not happy with how it went down, but at least we should get it eventually haha. wouldn't be a big deal if i wasn't coming from a 970. then again, someone here said they were upgrading from a 8500 gt so... i guess i won't complain too much.

How will they be so busy if they have barely any cards to send, not posting updates and not telling people what's up? If they had a lot of cards passing through their hands they would have an excuse, but it seems they don't, hence no updates. Unless you want to believe that all of them are on the phones with angry customers lol

I don’t think it’s the world’s biggest team to be fair, but I take your point about the lack of cards being processed. That being said, I was thinking more in terms of them still having to sanitise orders (inc the 3090 launch orders), dealing with customer complaints and cancellations (one could argue a burden they brought upon themselves a little), sourcing stock to fulfil the thousands of graphics card orders in the backlog, working out ways to improve the 3070 launch experience, working on a fully fledged queue system (easy to get queue numbers, much more difficult to correlate with incoming stock to give an estimated eta) all whilst still dealing with a pretty successful and busy PC and component business...

Yeah I know, but it's not like we have many options to get em any quicker. I do wish gibbo would have given some sort of update on the system though, since he suggested to wait till later in the week for it.
