That is a image of the 3080 you can clearly see it doesn't have the sli connector. And yes some places have been updating there images.
As you can see the 3090 has the sli stuff that other image is 3080 and now has 2 MLC.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't noticed the missing sli in the other image.

I've just edited my post. Someone on here around 12 last night posted a pic of them getting their non OC Palit to 2200MHz stable for synthetic tests.
Palit don't have the expensive cap array so I think this might throw that theory out the window.

It's looking more and more like it's just the silicon lottery and nvidia/AIB's set the boost clocks too high. This guy definitely hit the jackpot though unless that was on LN2?

Right, so now the FE's and TUF's are apparantly crashing the same as well? God someone give me a sick bag.
Not NOW they been crashing like all other ones. People being people AKA stupid instant jumped on "ITS THE CHEAP CAPZZZZZZZZ" Hype train

When 100 cards are sold
98 of them play game never know about any crashing problems
1 get some problems instant Flame on forums and internetz that
1 sees post of chaps problems and responds MINE WORKS FINE and 98 never even enter forums to post.

How long ya been living in internet ?? Everyone old enough knows that.
It could be One in 5000 cards from what we know. Somehow No Reviewers had/mentioned any of crashing problems and they tested multiple brands and had early versions of cards.

Yup thats what i think or boost behaviour too aggressive.

Open up your case and shove a tape measure in there, my case says max assumes I got front case fans but probably different from manufacturer to manufacturer.
I just opened my case up. It's an old circa 2012 case.. It seems like they chose these dimensions for this layout.. It's going to be tight, but seems to be pretty much exactly that size. Backplate to drive cage. I might need to re-run some wiring (which to be fair has been long overdue). But it should fit. Assuming I ever get one.

Now I just need to find my bag of assorted "tweezers"..

If u put some research in you will notice some reviewers received partner cards with different CAPACITORS, before u call people stupid, GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND

Yes I understand that, but EVGA has officially addressed the CAPS issue and said it was a problem originally and some reviewers received GPU's that had the wrong caps, so it was arguably quite a serious problem at one point or another for board partners at least.

Also I've been on the internet longer than you, I can almost guarantee that.

I think one of the biggest problems is that there's really not enough RTX 3080 cards out in the wild for us to truly know how widespread the issue is. I admit, I have pretty limited technical knowledge on the subject, but I'm kinda getting the jist of it. On the bright side, with many of us having to wait for our cards, the issue could very well be resolved by the time they turn up (at least I'm hopeful it will be...)

Using AMBIGUITY to get out of looking STUPID while calling other people STUPID really does not resolve the FACTS presented, therefore you are excused kid until u man up and accept responsibility for your own stupidity. If people wish to cancel due to a HARDWARE issue then they have that right to do so without being called STUPID, the FACTS show whether u have a problem or not with the 3080 / 3090 that the partner cards have ATTEMPTED to make extra bucks by adding in cheap components and knowingly sent reviewers different cards so that these issues would not be flagged.
