So are you saying that other companies who are divulging stock information such as ETAs are going to cause a fallout with the vendors?
I just don't understand how another company can have estimated dates of delivery and can tell people roughly what amount of stock they might be getting in via a simple webpage that's updated daily but at OCUK we have to essentially beg on a forum for information and get told to be patient, as if we aren't paying customers and it's some kind of privilege to be shopping with OCUK and we should be grateful just to get any information from you guys.
I have shopped with you guys for years and this has been, imo, the worst customer service experience I have ever had, the lack of clear and concise information after taking money from the customer is just unprofessional imo.
I appreciate that you're trying to give updates now on the forum but it's still really not saying much, it's more about how great OCUK is rather than some solid information about stock.
So I have some blunt questions to ask, hopefully you can give me a straight answer.
1. When are we likely to get a queue calculator? (Are we still getting one?)
2. Can you give an ETA on stock delivery for every brand of card (like your competitors have) so customers know when you are likely to get more cards in for shipment?
3. Can you make this information easily accessible via a webpage link that is updated daily so we no longer have to ask and beg for information that frankly, we are entitled to as paying customers?
I appreciate your response to my post but these are things I feel people really want answers to, clear answers.
https://youtu.be/4YeUFyMAuwU should give this a watch guys if your worried
as they should aka on the box ?? if card boost pass what the Box say thats pass spec's. Boost algoritm will be to aggressive and thats how they will fix CTD problem.Oh great, now we should feel okay with the "base models" not performing as they should because this guy said so.
I think OcUK needs to give people an estimated ETA for their orders based on their best knowledge at this time. Things can change, so if the ETAs did change because of new information, then they need to send people an updated ETA.
Those days are long time gone took 6 months more or less to fix bioses on first RYZEN to work with Hynix memories properly.Regardless of what's causing the issue, I don't see how anyone can be happy spending £750~ on a card and have it crash unless you undervolt it. These cards are not crashing because people are overclocking, they are crashing regardless. Just release cards that don't crash. I already lived through the 5700xt nightmare. Never again lol.
Release a product that works out of the box.

People are to quick to jump and start shooting rubbish at companies. Clearly these cards trying to boost more than what was intended for them to which is why they are crashing to desktop. Wish more people would understand this.as they should aka on the box ?? if card boost pass what the Box say thats pass spec's. If its stable at 1710 then its all good if it will crash trying to boost 1950 for example.
Depends what someone likes. I had great fun co working with ASUS to help em fix bioses and hardcore testing off problems alpha and test bioses ect. Even ended up with free motherboard for all time I invested in troubleshooting. Was great fun totally worth it and tahts why I know more about problems and where to look that probobly anyone on this forum if it goes for ryzens and how funny they can be.6 months of crashes, not worth.
I know Zotac got as everyone know kinda poor PCB 1710 is what they guarantee the card will work at pass that its all luck on silicone You gotten on card. But people dont even read what it says in manuals rather go ask question that is answered in manual they have on internetz instead to read the god damn manual...People are to quick to jump and start shooting rubbish at companies. They are crashing because the boost clock is to high. The algorithm is at fault not the product. The algorithm can be fixed.Regardless of what's causing the issue, I don't see how anyone can be happy spending £750~ on a card and have it crash unless you undervolt it.
