So are you saying that other companies who are divulging stock information such as ETAs are going to cause a fallout with the vendors?

I just don't understand how another company can have estimated dates of delivery and can tell people roughly what amount of stock they might be getting in via a simple webpage that's updated daily but at OCUK we have to essentially beg on a forum for information and get told to be patient, as if we aren't paying customers and it's some kind of privilege to be shopping with OCUK and we should be grateful just to get any information from you guys.

I have shopped with you guys for years and this has been, imo, the worst customer service experience I have ever had, the lack of clear and concise information after taking money from the customer is just unprofessional imo.

I appreciate that you're trying to give updates now on the forum but it's still really not saying much, it's more about how great OCUK is rather than some solid information about stock.

So I have some blunt questions to ask, hopefully you can give me a straight answer.

1. When are we likely to get a queue calculator? (Are we still getting one?)

2. Can you give an ETA on stock delivery for every brand of card (like your competitors have) so customers know when you are likely to get more cards in for shipment?

3. Can you make this information easily accessible via a webpage link that is updated daily so we no longer have to ask and beg for information that frankly, we are entitled to as paying customers?

I appreciate your response to my post but these are things I feel people really want answers to, clear answers.

+1 for this

I think OcUK needs to give people an estimated ETA for their orders based on their best knowledge at this time. Things can change, so if the ETAs did change because of new information, then they need to send people an updated ETA.

A while ago I ordered a custom mac from Apple, and the order had an ETA range (21-28 days). As we got closer to that date, the ETA became more accurate, but still changed a few times. And eventually it became an exact date, and the order was delivered on that date. OcUK should do the same.

Users deserve to know if their orders will be shipped in 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months or 6 months. While OcUk can't probably give an exact date, they can give an estimate based on their best knowledge at the time. That's pretty obvious.

Personally, I'm happy to wait. But knowing when to expect it makes planning for everything else easier, and it's something people deserve to know.

Oh great, now we should feel okay with the "base models" not performing as they should because this guy said so.
as they should aka on the box ?? if card boost pass what the Box say thats pass spec's. Boost algoritm will be to aggressive and thats how they will fix CTD problem.

If its stable at 1710 then its all good if it will crash trying to boost 1950 for example.

Regardless of what's causing the issue, I don't see how anyone can be happy spending £750~ on a card and have it crash unless you undervolt it. These cards are not crashing because people are overclocking, they are crashing regardless. Just release cards that don't crash. I already lived through the 5700xt nightmare. Never again lol.

Release a product that works out of the box.

Sadly, I don't agree. They may say something like "we think we may perhaps be able to deliver early next week if all goes well", some people will read "I'll get my delivery by Wednesday", and we all know they'll then make an angry post about it as it hasn't turned up.

Those days are long time gone took 6 months more or less to fix bioses on first RYZEN to work with Hynix memories properly.

People are to quick to jump and start shooting rubbish at companies. Clearly these cards trying to boost more than what was intended for them to which is why they are crashing to desktop. Wish more people would understand this.

6 months of crashes, not worth.
Depends what someone likes. I had great fun co working with ASUS to help em fix bioses and hardcore testing off problems alpha and test bioses ect. Even ended up with free motherboard for all time I invested in troubleshooting. Was great fun totally worth it and tahts why I know more about problems and where to look that probobly anyone on this forum if it goes for ryzens and how funny they can be.
And x570 motherboards at lest from Gigabyte ware not better lol.

I know Zotac got as everyone know kinda poor PCB 1710 is what they guarantee the card will work at pass that its all luck on silicone You gotten on card. But people dont even read what it says in manuals rather go ask question that is answered in manual they have on internetz instead to read the god damn manual...

They are crashing because the boost clock is to high. The algorithm is at fault not the product. The algorithm can be fixed.

Yeah that's great mate but I buy GPU's to play games, not to do troubleshooting for them lol

I'w been building PC's since 286sc. Back then You had to work out what Jumpers on motherboard Do if ya went second hand and not had manual for motherboard. So could take few days to get system to boot !!!
@Monty16v thats why I been in hospital with head split for stitching multiple times i dont stand down u KO me or u got problem. Have you ever been KOd witch chair and woke up in hospital with stitched up head ?? I have haha

Tbh if you able to build a computer from scratch you should be able to troubleshoot problems to do with that computer.

That's not the point. I've been PC building for years and know how to troubleshoot. 5700xt were on going for ages and could not be fixed by someone simply troubleshooting. And the same applies to this situation it seems. And again, you shouldn't expect cards like this to have constant crashing but I guess those are the woes of buying at launch.
