I really don't know what to make of this. I've been keeping an eye on the forums and not wanting to add to the negative sentiment as I wait patiently for my order to come through but this is... a joke.
- OcUK should be communicating the above directly with people with pre-orders. Not the one guy who took the initiative to call and ask
- Payment confrmation not order confirmation - this is mercinary, never mind the fact that I am £900 in the hole for a card I have no sight of (becuase of zero communication) but now my order status is all dependant on the speed of Amazon Pay. My order was confirmed at 14:45 on the 17th; my Amazon pay confirmed at 01:20am on the 18th. How can they justify that?
I know OcUK likes to position itself as the leading Nvidia partner and they have a good reason to considering their clear priority of stock, but they need to start acting and communicating like market leaders. Regardless of the number of orders, regardless of the stock, this is a choice that they are actively making not to share information.
Also, as so many have said above, a queue system is not difficult to code and if it really is going to take 2-3 weeks then god knows when we should expect our cards.
