Yeah but that checker shows your place in the queue for all makes, look at the top it shows how many have ordered each card. Can't speak for how accurate it is though

I think the none official checkers create more confusion than good. Especially if its found to be inaccurate and may be causing people to cancel their orders believing they are further away from getting a card than they are.

I contacted MSI on Twitter regarding the Trio and Ventus and between OC and MSI they can't tell us when stock is going to arrive or what is planned. Im not particularly fussed about waiting for the graphics card and would not usually chase. But this is holding up £2000 worth of an order for me as they can't send out the rest of the goods without the card for some strange reason.

I struggle to believe that between MSI the manufacturer and the retailer that no one has knowledge of dates of delivery.

The frustrating thing for me is i have a decision to split the graphics card from the rest of my order and go to the back of the queue or potentially wait months for the whole thing.

MSI should know when they are sending OC stock for a particular model and OC should know when they are receiving orders. I empathise with the unprecedented situation globally at the moment but this can all be resolved if businesses level with us. If you tell me im not likely to get it before xmas due to my place in the queue, i can make an informed decision what to do with my money. Rather than OC earning interest from thousands of orders and no product delivered.

Is this in relation to the changing of orders? Other than that I don't see any other behaviour I'd consider unfair.

It is, yes. From what I can see, this is the issue that has been vexxing people the most. If time for OCUK is limited, addressing this one query would go a long way to pacifying a lot of people.

Brits know how to queue. It's our superpower. If we can no longer expect fairness in a queue, then frankly, all of civilisation has fallen through!

An assurance that, from this point forth, anybody not changing their order can only move forwards in their queue, will be a welcome announcement.

Don't forget they are just media people on twitter ECT.

I know what the forum rules say, but they are selling cards that they have no clue when they will get in stock. They can't compete with somebody that has stock unless they are selling imaginary cards.
But that's a completely different subject and doesn't excuse abuse of the forum rules ;)

It’s not. Its the queue for the card you ordered. The numbers at the top are the amount of people’s info they actually have. They guesstimate the rest going by information they have.

MSI won't share their allocation to a particular vendor because they literally have deals with some of them. It is basically private information although OcUK should know, but for a particular reason they don't want to share that info.

Ok fair enough, I just jumped the boat since it asked me to select my specific card so I assumed it would limit it to that card, but I guess in hindsight it won't be able to tell the difference from the order number now I think about it.

Agreed, however these people are employees of the company and are front client facing for customer issues. They have the ability to contact people within the company to find out the answers we are looking for.

Just rang up OCUK.

It sounds like they really have no clue what is happening and it is just a big wait and see thing. They did not even want to know my Order Number.

I kind of felt sorry for the person on the call as it is hard to be unable to provide anything to a customer.

and I'd imagine trying to get updates from NV and the AIBs is likely trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Getting shipment updates from AIB's is actually easier than getting updates here
Which is totally wrong.
I think they are under a lot more pressure than OCUK but can still communicate well with customers. It's basic customer service

Just got my dispatch email for my MSI Trio. :D

For info, I ordered at 14:18 17th Dec. Order no: 58603xx. I was 43rd on the unofficial queue.

Guessing a relatively large MSI shipment landed this week.

I'm pretty sure if you contact OCUK that they will be able to get the rest of your Order shipped out with the Gpu to follow at a later date.

sorry I know I could be stupid but can’t you remove the other items and keep the graphic card as the order and just cancel the other items people have said on here they could swop if they didn’t have to pay more ?

Far too many pages to go through and see if this has cropped up before, but....

I've decided with all the bad press to cancel my Trinity with *Elsewhere* and go for the Aorus Master here - taking a gamble maybe but I've liked Aorus and im hoping with it being gigabyte top end it won't be full of cost cutting like in the Zotac cards. That being said....

I rang overclockers bascially told them I want to preorder and I know they don't have info etc, but I want to know what I'm getting myself into before I preorder. Is there 300 on back order or 3000. So he checked, 171. Sorted.Pre-ordered, I can wait.

Ran my number through the queue and it estimates I'm around 594. Cleary not since they only have 171 back orders.

Just thought I'd post it here so everyone knows how far off (in this instance anyway) the estimated numbers can be, and maybe it's not as bad as you think.
Interestingly my sheet has put that card at 186 orders on the first day. Which i don't know how many have been cancelled but the sheet is looking pretty accurate in terms of that figure however the overall figure may well be out
