Look who I spotted!
Lol, poor old boy.

3080 equivalent with 16 GB vram at $599 = great card for the whole console generation (7+ years). It's going to be an INSANE deal!
Yeah our man Paul could not confirm the name he hinted it, so in that sense he is right if this is legit leak info coming through.
The file date for infinity cache, via the posted tweet is 9-29-2020. There is no other inherent name given that I know of. Also when you look at the international class it's for private sector business applications.Thats not the patent that is linked a few posts back it is the trademark. I had a post somewhere in this thread that linked to the patent and from memory it was filed early last year.
Edit: March 2019

Infinity Fabric? is the name AMD gave to its 2.5D stacking technology many years ago, in this case it allowed the GPU and CPU to share the same memory pool effectively making the CPU and GPU the same thing.
CPU's are very good with serial execution, GPU are very good with Parallel execution, by mashing the two together you get the best of both worlds and greatly increase performance. AMD call this technology Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA)
It brilliant technology but unfortunately it requires developer support and Intel setting the trend for that won't have it, or at least they did.... Intel's dominance is changing.
IF, or Infinity Fabric is still in all new Ryzen CPU's, only now its used to connect chiplet modules together.
AMD are still pursuing this technology, it is the future weather Intel like it or not.
An example of what the performance looks like.
Much like the approach of extending an Infinity Fabric link between the CPU and GPU, HSA provides a pool of cache-coherent shared virtual memory that eliminates data transfers between components to reduce latency and boost performance.
Surely we should have a ray traced hype train by now![]()
Hoping that AMD launch works out better than Nvidias

'LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLadies and gentlemen, my names Paul, and in this redgamingtech.com video, we're gona be discussing, as well as analysing..........

I'm glad he poo-pooed that rubbish about dedicating 20cu's to RT... I said a few days ago that it was bunk and RT was gonna be done in the same pipeline... Not saying Paul is the 100% accurate indisputable source of truth -- but that he reiterated where my understanding was seems to bode well![]()
Choo Chooo!!!
Not long now peeps.
