Managed to get on and order at 17:43 on the 17th, got 731 in the queue for a Gigabyte Eagle OC and been lurking since launch. The lack of any info from literally anywhere regarding shipping to the UK is slightly worrying tbh.![]()
And then there's the mysterious "OK amount" that has no definition.Less than 50 is small, more than 50 is average, more than 100 is big and more than 1000 is a dream.
Too many pages to read and find maybe no answer but... Has anybody in the TUF OC list get an updated queue position email after today's shipping? If yes, how much farther did you advance?
Congrats.Just had DPD at the door with my Gigabyte Vision 3080 and one pack of Tangfastics! Can confirm it's real. Shame I need to get through a lot of work today before I can properly unbox![]()
Anyone got any info on the BigDong XL OCs? I'm no. 69 in the queue and not heard anything.
Coming soon.
Well its nice to see some queue's do actually move.
Side note: does anyone else just pop in regularly to get the latest news as opposed to complaining or expecting some kind of miracle update or is that just me.
It doesn't seem to have done them much good so far!I guess OCUK wouldn't want to jeopordise their position as one of the biggest and oldest NVIDIA partners and therefore not be one of the first companies to get stock
I think it's getting dangerously close to confirming that OCUK won't be collecting any of the Palit shipments that was supposedly supposed to arrive sometime last week to early this week.
This is my 2cent on the whole situation, the 3000's series have been a disaster for Nvidia.
They decided to go with Samsung which was there first massive mistake, this made the cards draw way too much, power needing expensive cooling and clock slower than the Turing cards on TMSC.
And for what to get a slightly better deal, with worse yields and possibly delayed wafers.
Another obvious mistake was not giving AIB's any amount of time to truly test the chips and we all know the **** fest that happened next. Again more delays as cards were pulled back for more testing and hardware changes.
But it's fine, it was a driver issue all along, but AIB's didn't seem to acknowledge this, what a joke that could have easily been avoided.
So what we got in there top card the 3090, a 24gb 8k cardthat doesn't overclock due to going with Samsung and having very few binned chips and pulls a ridiculous amount of power, for what 10-15 more fps LOL
You see. Im talking about being rude and condescending. Haven't got a clue what you are going on about.
Side note just by a general show of hands how many people who are thinking about getting a 5000 zen cpu will avoid pre ordering here gotta say feeling pretty burnt with cloak and dagger tactics.
Queuing and moaning, with a splattering of a failed education system. I’ve never felt so British.![]()
Soon they will be saying zee instead of zed and using z instead s in many wordsSorry that’s twice now I’ve seen people say “math”. Are you and the other bloke American ?
Yeah, they need to sort that out for peats sake!blame schools these days my 14 and 16 year both use math also it’s a accepted term now in our education![]()
