*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Let's hope so , keep us updated :) fingers crossed. Edit ps I never did catch what card you got?
I’m sure it will, I do seem to be one of the only people still having 3080 issues so hopefully it was just a driver install issue. I’ve got a Ventus, the card itself seems great it’s quieter and cooler than my 5700xt Red Devil. I’ve not messed with fan curves or under/overclocking yet.

I'm contemplating cancelling my Tuf (Non OC) given the complete lack of movement and jumping on a diffrent card any idea on cards with potentially shorter queues? Totally appreciate most aren't short.

As others have already said, the info in the spreadsheet suggests that there were shorter queues for both the Gigabyte Vision OC (55 in queue for an order on Thursday, email sent after 13 were shipped that day) and Zotac Trinity OC (26 in queue for an order on the 30th, and they shipped 26 on Friday). Other cards might also have low queue numbers from the data, but these cards we know exist, so they'd be my bet if I was making an order now.

Are there any updates for Asus TUF non OC? Will I be blessed with this card by end of this year?

Nothing since the queues went out on Friday 2nd. I think some had shipped out close to the launch on the 17th, but its been so long. Hopefully the next week or two will see some movement and amounts improving?

It seems like Msi gaming trios are the rarest of cards I haven’t seen any anywhere in a week or so

30 Gaming Trios went out on the 29th, nothing since then, but that is the same for most other cards. Honestly seems to me that between those 30 Trios and the 50 Ventus last week MSI are actually the best shipment rate of the AIBs to OC (though also some of the longer queues).

Any news on evga cards

We know that:
  • OC get their EVGA stock from a distributor, not direct from EVGA
  • EVGA has two distributors in the UK
  • @Aaron97 got in touch with both of them, one only does PSUs, the other is expecting stock at the end of this month
So hopefully movement at the end of the month, but likely not before then, and who knows how much stock it'll actually be.

Yeah and no way would a online retailer in the pandemic selling computer stuff fail right now. Since the pandemic started only companies to flourish have been companies like this because everyone is stuck at home or working from home and need new computer stuff for online, work, video conferencing and much more. Look at the stocks of most of the retailers and they gone through the roof. They have all prospered thigh this pandemic well. So no way OCUK is going anywhere at the minute.

There was an American from New York who came up with an interesting theory recently, he said after 9/11 people couldn't sustainably work from home because the bandwidth at the time was insufficient to allow video conferencing and large data file transfers, but now post lockdown, companies have realised home working is a viable option and they don't need expensive offices and workers commuting to them. He called it BB and AB, before bandwith and after bandwidth, his theory is that people are not going to return to the cities as a work environment in the numbers they once did, there has been a sea change and we all need to get used to the new reality.

I really shouldn’t, it’s less than a year old and it’s an EVGA 1000w G1+ and I’m using 2 cables from the PSU. Last night I did DDU again and reinstalled the drivers and no crashes so far so fingers crossed that’s sorted it.
Apologies, I thought you’d said you were running 650W :D

That’ll teach me to try doing 4 things at once! Let’s hope it’s just a driver issue.

Do we know what the pre-order queue for the 3080 Auros Xtreme is like? I'd like to get a 3 power slot GPU but I don't want to be in position 1000 in a queue

Only 3 entries have been submitted to the spreadsheet for it, so not much data at all (come on people, submit your queue position), but the third one was a purchase on the 28th with queue position 168, so far from the longest queue, but also not that short, no new data for two weeks, and I'm not sure we've heard of any shipments going out.

No worries I wouldn’t want your job on this forum right now :D

Yeah I’m sure it’ll sort itself if not I’ll do a fresh install but I seem to be one of the few people with issues since the latest driver update so it’s probably something on my end rather than the card.

Definitely some weirdness with the queue numbers people are getting, I ordered an eagle at midnight on the 17th and got position 865, but on the spreadsheet I'm seeing people who ordered hours before me in the 900's and 1100's
