AMD 6800 & 6800 XT MBA LAUNCH AT 2PM TODAY - EXTREMELY LIMITED STOCK!

Im waiting on a 3000 or 6000 so I can finally start my new build.. at this rate might just buy a 5700XT and use the "ended return window until end of Jan" with a certain other retailer until a get my hands on one .. devious, I know :P

For those that are getting the rejections, be thankful you at least got the afternoon excitement of actally being able to submit an order, handing over money and waiting to find out whether you'd won the lottery. That's priceless.

Wasn't lucky today, however, I think the OcUk staff did a good job considering their website isn't built for this type of demand. Many thanks to the Ocuk staff and hopefully the prices will be fair on 25th :)

Just gotta hope the refund hits my bank soon enough or ill just have to buy a scalped card that's not at criminal prices

That's a fair point. I had absolutely no luck on two other sites, one site was just dead for 30+ minutes, the other worked a lot better than OCUK but I never once saw the Add To Basket button on either of the 6800XT cards.

OCUK's technical problems gave me a shot. Didn't work out, but had I been a bit luckier it might have done. I lost 3-4 minutes when the page didn't recognise my click on Paypal, and asked for CC details. I didn't have my card to hand so I tried to go back to the basket and try again, and then the site was unavailable for several minutes.

Oh well.
