HI Scotti,

Thanks for taking your time to unswer our questions. As you most likely are aware now we (customers) do not receive much updates from @Gibbo, he's active on every other thread but this one. Whenever he decides to throw as a bone it is not accurate. he does not provide us numbers but ranges for deliveries such as small, very small or ok amount for which he provided definitions and these are not accurate as well. People are upset because he and OCUK don't care/forgot about 3080 customers and we are simply being ignored. We were promissed regular updates and communication, the only thing people here relay on is the "cancellation day" - Friday stock update email. We finding out how many people in front of us cancelled their orders.

It's a mess, no one want's to be OCUK customer because of the above behaviour.
Well put exactly how I feel I didn't complain at all for about 2 months I wouldn't be complaining at all if it weren't for Gibbs terrible info

If you're in the Palit queue, count this one less person there, managed to obtain an MSI Gaming X Trio. Hoping the order doesn't get cancelled from them but I have cancelled my OCUK order. If it all goes **** up I'll just wait, I can squeeze some more juice outta my 1080 for now.

It's sad that the bloke who's supposed to be focused more on SI stock is getting dragged into the retail vitriol @Gibbo

Why is it down to him to have to defend the company when this is your area to deal with?
( I understand you've got a few days off so I can excuse the past few days) but what about the weeks prior to this, what about the magic stock that's come in but no updates have been made, what about the stock that's come in and we've been told about that doesn't match with your own self professed dispatch numbers, that very observant and diligent FORUM members can spot, but your warehouse staff/yourself can't?

The only reason @ScottiB has had to speak up is that he's probably fed up of being dragged through the **** that is so rightfully for you, your lack of empathy for your customers is honestly what's been dragging this whole thing down, a majority of the people here understand that production is slow, the quantities aren't there and that the blame doesn't solely lay on Overclockers.

What's ******* people off, and mainly here in the forums, is that you're happily flaunting the wealth you've accrued on other forums posts and ignoring forum threads you absolutely could update, and it honestly does seem like you care more about that aspect than the actual customer side of this all, and more power to you if you could actually do your job and keep us updated as you promised you would, but you can't, so it comes off as arrogance and apathetic bragging about yourself and how much money you can "scam" off people, because that's what a lot of people feel this is, a scam, they feel like they're being played by you and your vague "guesstimates" of retail stock shipments to be kept hanging on longer and longer, and the longer they wait, the more ****** off they're gonna get with the situation because they're not getting what they were promised, clear, concise and transparent information from the person who promised it.

Even if it was just "I tried guys, but nothings expected this week" bad news is still better than no news, and it shows you're at least still trying to get the information out to us, instead of avoiding the forum threads and hiding and looking for your next expensive buy, and if you've made a mistake on a post, own up to it, say "oops sorry guys overestimated how many [xyz cards] were supposed to be arriving this week/month/year. we only got x amount of them this time" actually take responsibility for the mistakes you've made and you might find the community won't be as toxic or inflammatory about the situation when they spot something that doesn't add up.
Well said @Gibbo please do your job when you get back :)

The issue the majority have in this thread is the complete lack of communication from Gibbo, and it's tanking Overclockers UK Trustpilot rating. This will have a long term effect on customer confidence and it's due to one person, the one not dealing with communication with those that have ordered their GPUs. Perhaps @ScottiB can have a word with @Gibbo internally since long term this may also affect his side of the business.

Cheers @ScottiB for actually giving some info on the situation. I've literally made an account just to say that on here.

Does anyone have the slightest clue whether the TUF NON OC 3070 even exists? I've been 9th in the queue for a month.
You're absolutely right, we haven't received any at all and I've just spoken to my Asus account manager and he can't see an ETA, so we are unlikely to get any in the next couple of weeks. We have no idea why.

What I'm going to do on this occasion since we have some available stock is to switch the earliest orders over to the OC variant. I can't do this for everybody unfortunately since there's a cost difference to us and, frankly. we don't have the manpower to manually edit all of the orders.

Can you give us a rough update on stock this week please Scott
I don't have full visibility of what's coming, I'm only CC'd on emails from Asus, Gigabyte and MSI because they are also my SI partners.
We're expecting stock from all three next week although I can't be specific about models or quantities because the stock isn't at the distributors yet, I just know that stock has arrived in the hubs.

I've explained this before. Nvidia allocate GPUs to both the retail and the system integration sectors and tell their partners where to send the stock. This stock was allocated by the partners for our SI business and I purchased it, not Gibbo. Nvidia and it's partners have hundreds of large scale system integration customers, of which we are one. These customers employ many thousands of people just for the building of said systems. To ignore those customers because the retail sector is so vocal and toxic makes absolutely no business sense.

The fact that the stock that I receive is retail boxed is irrelevant. It's generally easier for the suppliers that way, so there are no "brown box" or OEM packaged cards available. It would be easier for us if there were. Nobody questions why PC Specialist, for example, are receiving stock for their SI business. Nobody is questioning why Scan are receiving stock for their SI business. So why should I be pulled over hot coals for keeping my SI business going?

The simple and overarching fact is that my SI allocation is a small percentage of the overall RTX 3000 series supply. I think the only card where I've received even close to the stock that Gibbo has recently is the GTX 1660 Super, so I'm not responsible for Nvidia's crappy supply and neither is Gibbo.
Well thank you for jumping down my throat just what every paying customer wants :)
I’ve read though the tread a lot of people have already replied and told you why we are so “toxic”
Now my questions have been aimed at Gibbo because he is in charge of the retail stock. I want to make a point of this he has NOT give us regular updates and he has NOT answered our questions. We are being ignored and kept in the dark. So I think we have every right to be angry when we see you advertising systems with rtx3080 in them when our questions have gone on unanswered. We have no idea what is going on because NO ONE WILL UPDATE US. And we do talk about one of your competitors you mentioned. We use them as an example OCUK should learn from!

I do also want to point out you @ScottiB have been more active today then @Gibbo has been in the last 2 months and it’s a real shame that my first interaction with you on this forum has been like this. Can you please carry this message up the chain the reason we are so angry and why this thread is toxic is because we are not getting regular updates and our questions go unanswered! The little updates we do get are barely even a sentence ones a week with little to know information in them please look for your self

Now would you be happy customer if you have been waiting over 2 months and you are given little to no information? Please put yourself in our shoes. How Gibbo/OCUK has handled this situation bad and it does need to improve and I really hope you having to come into this thread to put out fires is a wake up call for OCUK

I just couldn't go through with it at that price. Congrats though - I'm sure you'll get it. They apparently had 19 of them, and they were up for at least 20mins. Even the email notification came in time.

Sorry, you have available stock of the OC model so you are going to send a few to the non-oc customers waiting? Is this fair on the OC queue of customers who have also been waiting weeks?

Well thank you for jumping down my throat
Sorry didn't mean to come across so short, you wouldn't believe, over the years, how many times I've had to explain why we have "build stock" of certain items which are in short supply. The industry phrase that they use when something is high demand, low supply is that 'the product has gone into allocation' which basically means that the manufacturer is having to manually allocate stock to each customer rather than letting the distribution chain handle it on a first come first served basis. That's how they ensure that their key customers aren't left waiting because an opportunistic reseller managed to put a big order in early..

See news stories about "scalping collectives" managing to get hold on thousands of PS5's from their distributors for an example of what I mean.
