RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

I can only assume then that NO 5900X have been shipped since last week. How hard is it to send a damn email telling me my queue position. Literally have to sort through trolls and other crap in this thread to try and sorty out any information.

Meanwhile there is a company who knows EXACTLY what is going on but just won't share the information.

100% Gibbo has received at least one email this week saying something like

"Good Morning Gibbo,

We just got those 300x 5900X's in. Going to sort em out out and we'll keep you updated.

Kind Regards,
Goods In person"

Then Gibbo looks at this email, goes "hmm nice" and then goes back to doing whatever his job is, meanwhile, people here circle jerk at how OCUK are trying their hardest"

By the looks of it they received a significant amount of 5600x. Which is great news for some.
If they received 400 for example they will allocate those to the first 400 in the queue but they will not pick them from 1 to 400. They will pick according to a load plan, because DPD couldn’t care less who is first in the queue.
On that load plan there will be multiple lorries with different time slots who have to go to different depots or sortation centres in different parts of the county. It makes no sense to pick the first in the queue if it’s on the last lorry to arrive to be loaded.

It was about 3 posts prior - you’re not the only person who’s been waiting a month with F all info so perhaps point your attitude at OC rather than those bothering to post here and update you. Regardless, I hope you get your unit soon.
 
But the queue could easily become a stack, so even if they pick them all 1to x. Now 1 is actually at the bottom of the pile so if they then scan them to dispatch they are scanned xto1.
There's a hell of a lot of very plausible reasons the e-mails don't fall nicely in queue order but I'm sure OCUK make sure that the queue goes down as fair as they can.
 
I've not been active in any kind of forum for a good few years. I'd forgotten what it was like :D On the most part this seems like a great community, but there's a fair few chips on shoulders too!
Hope everyone who got a new unit enjoys it and that the rest don't have to wait too much longer!

Don’t know how their systems work, but in the places that I worked it comes up as dispatched when the pallet is scanned for loading into the lorry.
There is an entire process but OC is doing really well. Imagine they have to book in the stock and the arriving pallet doesn’t always contains only 1 sku(it’s not cost effective), strip down the pallet, count ,allocate, pick it and pack it individually (sometimes a certain client can have multiple items which need to be dispatched)

I would guess there is some reason for the way the orders are being picked and packed, I’m hopeful that mine will be picked this weekend as position 275 in the 5900x queue. Though won’t be able to use it as I’ve been holding off buying a new motherboard until it ships and all the MB’s i want at out of stock everywhere (crosshair hero viii or dark hero)

No update, been promised multiple times will receive updates on Friday or whenever shipments are received.

Like seriously wtf, its not hard to send out automated emails.
 
FFS, still no word on 5900. And the order I put in last Saturday for items in-stock, still no delivery ETA.

seriously, what is the problem with OCUK.
